Juno Award winner for Album of the Year, Michael Buble's Christmas album was originally released in 2011 and is reissued here on vinyl LP courtesy of Reprise Records. Produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica, Christmas was recorded primarily at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood and The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.
Buble presents his unique takes on such Christmas classics as "Silent Night," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" among others. In addition, a Buble original "Cold December Night" also appears along with guest performances by Shania Twain on "White Christmas" and The Puppini Sisters on "Jingle Bells." Climbing to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, Christmas stands as Buble's biggest seller moving over 12 million worldwide.
Commented Buble, "Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year for me and my family so naturally it's been a dream of mine to make the 'ultimate' Christmas record. Even though it was summer and 95 degrees in LA, we totally got into the spirit of the holiday. Of course we decorated the studio with Christmas lights in the middle of July and that was a big help. One more thing, my mother told me it's the best record I ever made."
