Hesitation Marks
Regular price $40.00 Save $-40.00Simultaneously referencing the past while pointed to the future, 2013's Hesitation Marks found Nine Inch Nails relentlessly experimenting with new textures, deep grooves and restraint. The result made for a deep, accessible listen with lots hidden under the surface. Recorded in secret, Trent Reznor teamed with producers Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder to create the first new music from NIN in five years. Home to the singles "Came Back Haunted," "Copy of A" and "Everything," wide ranging guest artists here include Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham, King Crimson guitarist Adrian Belew and bassist Pino Palladino (The Who, Paul Simon D'Angelo, Adele). "My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place," Reznor noted. The album climbed to No. 3 on the US Billboard 200, NIN's highest charting album since Year Zero, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.

Pretty Hate Machine
Regular price $25.00 Save $-25.00Remastered edition of the 1989 debut album from Trent Reznor and Co. Featuring the original tracklisting and artwork. As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohio, Trent Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Tack head). The result was Pretty Hate Machine. All songs were written, arranged, programmed and performed by Reznor.
The Downward Spiral [Explicit Content]
Regular price $44.00 Save $-44.00Since their inception in the metal heartland and rock stronghold of Cleveland, OH, Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails have been pioneers in their field. Broadly categorized in the early days as an industrial rock band they've stuck to first principles while shifting their focus with each successive album and achieved a level of success based on a fanatical following that makes a mockery of any idea they were ever cut out to be a cult act. NIN's sales have exceeded 11 million in the U.S. alone and over 30 million worldwide.
It was second album The Downward Spiral (1994) that proved NIN's couldn't be confined. Detailing the life of a man entering his own downward spiral and influenced by the likes of David Bowie and Pink Floyd, Reznor established the sound as a provocative force with hit tracks "Hurt" and "Closer." Still working with Flood, Reznor embraced old and new technology and presented a distinguished character within both. Neither a Luddite nor a straightforward futurist the album did create shockwaves thanks to deliberately nihilistic pieces like "Heresy," "March of the Pigs" and "Big Man With A Gun" but the benefits of hindsight have been to reveal the recording's naked honesty rather than any deliberate attempt to be confrontational.
This definitive version of The Downward Spiral, meticulously prepared by Trent Reznor and NIN art director John Crawford, was remastered in 2016 and comes pressed on 180g 2LP with updated artwork and more.
