Four-time JUNO award winning group Our Lady Peace is one of the most successful Canadian bands of the post-grunge era, garnering platinum-selling album after platinum-selling album while also achieving acclaim in the US with hits such as "Superman's Dead" and "Clumsy" which anchored the band's breakout 1997 second studio effort Clumsy. Certified Platinum in the U.S., the album sold more than a million units in their homeland alone, qualifying it for the almost-impossible-to-attain Diamond Award, and it remains the only alt-rock album in Canadian history ever to reach that level.
