Transparent Green Vinyl. Minecraft - Volume Alpha is the work of German composer and musician Daniel Rosenfeld. Using C418 as his moniker, Rosenfeld crafted the sweeping soundtrack and vibrant sound design which helped breathe life into Minecraft's voxel-based universe. Fans and critics were universally enamored with his beatless, nuanced electronic pieces upon release. Popular gaming site Kotaku named it among The Best Game Music of 2011, calling the music "remarkably soothing," and The Guardian has compared Rosenfeld's delicate piano and sparse ambient motifs to legendary artists Erik Satie and Brian Eno. In an interview feature with C418, Polygon distilled Volume Alpha to its essence: "It's not bound by the retro aesthetic of Minecraft's graphics. It transcends them. The album is an attempt to uplift the combined game/music experience into the sublime."

Double fire splatter vinyl LP pressing. As C418, composer and producer Daniel Rosenfeld designs sounds to resonate in both physical and pixelated realms. Best known for his original soundtracks to Minecraft, the single best-selling video game of all time, he's developed a discography of instrumental music over the last decade that traverses electronic pop patterns, neo-classical dreamscapes, and sparse ambient motifs. Originally self-released in 2013, Minecraft Volume Beta was C418's longest batch of music to date at nearly 140 minutes. The collection features tracks that were "silently" added to Minecraft during it's music updates and a few that never officially entered the game. Rosenfeld's unmistakable abilities are on display; he creates a sweeping variety of musical ideas that mirror the limitless universe of Minecraft. Ghostly International is thrilled to give this unique collaboration it's due treatment and hopes to see the creative inspiration which drives Minecraft and Rosenfeld continue to disperse by virtue of this unexpectedly universal music.

Cowboy Bebop (Original Series Soundtrack)
Regular price $38.98 Save $-38.98DESCRIPTION
Double vinyl LP pressing. Housed in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves. The Bebop crew is just trying to make a buck. This motley lot of intergalactic loners teams up to track down fugitives and turn them in for cold hard cash. Spike is a hero whose cool façade hides a dark and deadly past. The pilot Jet is a bruiser of a brute who can't wait to collect the next bounty. Faye Valentine is a femme fatale prone to breaking hearts and separating fools from their money. Along for the ride are the brilliant, but weird, hacker Ed and a super-genius Welsh Corgi named Ein. On their own, any one of them is likely to get lost in the sprawl of space, but together, they're they most entertaining gang of bounty hunters in the year 2071. Composed and performed by Yoko Kanno and the band Seatbelts, the music of Cowboy Bebop is one of the signature elements of the series. The energetic jazz-infused pieces rip and roar across the stars and are as indispensable as the crew of the Bebop themselves.

Singles
Regular price $37.98 Save $-37.98Newly Expanded/Remastered Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition of the Acclaimed Soundtrack from Cameron Crowe's 1992 Film That Introduced a New Seattle Rock Sound to the World!
The 25th anniversary of Cameron Crowe's groundbreaking 1992 romantic comedy, Singles, is being commemorated with the release of a newly expanded and remastered edition of the film's integral Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The 2LP edition features the album's original 13 tracks newly mastered and freshly pressed across four sides of collectible 12″ vinyl plus a bonus CD of rarities and unreleased tracks included as a special insert. The newly expanded edition of the film's soundtrack was produced by Danny Bramson and Crowe and mastered by Mike Piacentini at Battery Studios, New York and includes liner notes – and a track-by-track description of the album's music written especially for this collection by Crowe
The newly released bonus CD (included with the 2LP-set) features previously unreleased recordings by Chris Cornell, Mike McCready, Mudhoney, and Paul Westerberg in addition to rarities such as Cornell's 1992 EP Poncier (debuting an early rendition of "Spoonman") and tracks from the film not included on the best-selling soundtrack album first released on June 30, 1992. It also includes "Touch Me I'm Dick," the signature track from Singles performed by Citizen Dick (a fictional band created for the film featuring frontman Matt Dillon backed by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament).
25 years ago, the film Singles and its soundtrack worked together to bring the underground Seattle music scene to the forefront of mainstream consciousness. The album was among the first top-selling movie soundtracks of the 1990s to showcase new material from emerging contemporary acts including Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden - while Paul Westerberg, in his first solo recordings outside The Replacements – contributed two songs and provided the score for the film. Smashing Pumpkins were also featured on the soundtrack with the song "Drown."
"The album itself was always designed to be sort of an anti-soundtrack, more like a souvenir and a simple mix-tape of some of Seattle's finest," said Cameron Crowe. "It really is and was a tribute to those hard-working bands that welcomed me to their city with open arms, and the music so many still love so much. Anyway, here we are now revisiting ‘Singles,' the film, as well as the soundtrack you hold in your hands, expanded with a special tip of the hat to the fans of the original release. Included are unreleased and raw elements that helped shape the experience of making the movie back in 1991. Hope you enjoy the trip back as much as I did – Viva Seattle!"
The expanded edition of Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is cause to celebrate anew the radical rock sounds that radiated out of the American Northwest a quarter century ago and changed pop music forever!

A rock star rises from the dead to exact revenge on the men who killed him and his wife in this fantastic 1994 comic-book adaptation. Peaking at the top of the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and certified triple platinum, the acclaimed Original Motion Picture Soundtrack offers up a nice helping of industrial, gothic, and alternative hard rock from the likes of The Cure, Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine, Rollins Band, Helmet, Pantera and The Jesus And Mary Chain among others. Vinyl 2LP reissue with d-side crow etching.
"The early Nineties were filled with best-selling soundtracks, everything from Dazed and Confused to Pulp Fiction, each of them catering to a specific slice of the listening public. For some fans, the period's preeminent soundtrack belonged to 1994's The Crow; like the movie that inspired it, the collection drips with a moody, eyeliner-smeared darkness that's so of its time, it makes listening to it today comparable to leafing through old graduation photos." - Revolver
