SZA, one of the redefining voices of today's contemporary music era, entered the music scene in 2012 with her first critically acclaimed EP, See.SZA.Run. Following that, she released S in 2013 and Z in 2014, both to rave reviews. In 2013, SZA signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, being the first female artist to join the label. SZA wrote and performed on Rihanna's Anti single "Consideration" in 2016 and helped write Nicki Minaj and Beyonce's "Feelin Myself" in 2014. Born in Maplewood, NJ as Solána Rowe, SZA grew up listening to classic and avant-garde jazz, alternative, and rap. She renamed herself finding inspiration within the Supreme Alphabet: the ‘S' stands for savior or sovereign, the ‘Z' for zig-zag, and the ‘A' for Allah.

On the strength of hit lead single "Love Galore," SZA's major label debut Ctrl claimed the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart and entered at No. 1 on Billboard's R&B Albums and No. 2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums charts. Limited double vinyl LP pressing. The Best of Sade is the first greatest hits album by vocalist Sade Adu and her band. It was originally released in November 1994. By Epic Records. Sade formed in London in 1982. However, three of their members were originally from Kingston upon Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Their music features elements of soul, R&B, jazz, soft rock, and funk. Sade's 1984 debut studio album Diamond Life, was a hit internationally, reaching # 1 in several countries and the Top Ten in the US where it has sold in excess of 4 million copies. In late 1985, Sade released their second studio album Promise, which peaked at No. 1 in both the UK and the US. It was certified double platinum in the UK, and quadruple platinum in the US. In 1986 Sade won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Their 2000 fifth studio album, Lovers Rock, won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Sade's US certified sales so far stand at 23.5 million units according to Recording Industry Association of America (RIAAand have sold more than 75 million records worldwide to date. The band were ranked at #50 on VH1's list of the "100 greatest artists of all time."

2021 Grammy Award-Winner for Best Progressive R&B Album!

Thundercat's new album It Is What It Is was co-produced with Flying Lotus and features musical contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino, Lil B, Kamasi Washington, BADBADNOTGOOD, Louis Cole, Steve Lacy, Steve Arrington, and Zack Fox.

It Is What It Is follows his game-changing third album Drunk (2017). That record completed his transition from virtuoso bassist to bonafide star and cemented his reputation as a unique voice that transcends genre. "This album is about love, loss, life and the ups and downs that come with that," Bruner says about It Is What It Is. "It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but at different points in life you come across places that you don't necessarily understand...some things just aren't meant to be understood."

The unruly bounce of single "Black Qualls" is classic Thundercat, teaming up with Steve Lacy (The Internet) and Funk icon Steve Arrington (Slave). It's another example of Stephen Lee Bruner's desire to highlight the lineage of his music and pay his respects to the musicians who inspired him. Discovering Arrington's output in his late teens, Bruner says he fell in love with his music immediately: "The tone of the bass, the way his stuff feels and moves, it resonated through my whole body."

Serving as Gaye's first venture into the funk genre and romance-themed music, Let's Get It On incorporates smooth soul, doo-wop, and quiet storm. It has been noted by critics for it's sexually suggestive lyrics, and was cited by one writer as "one of the most sexually charged albums ever recorded." Following the breakthrough success of his socially conscious album What's Going On (1971), Let's Get It On helped establish Gaye as a sex icon and furthered his mainstream appeal. Baduizm's success earned Erykah Badu popularity at the time and helped establish her as one of the emerging neo soul genre's leading artists. Recording sessions for the album took place from January to October 1996 at Battery Studios in New York City, Sigma Sounds and Ivory Studios in Philadelphia, and Dallas Sound Lab in Dallas. Continuing with its Respect The Classics initiative, UMe reissued this album in its entirety, on double vinyl LP for the first time.
