The Rocky Horror Picture Show original movie soundtrack released on Lou Adler's Ode Records in 1975, is celebrating it's historic 50th Anniversary. On August 15, 2025, Ode Records is releasing the original soundtrack remastered by Pete Lyman of Infrasonic Mastering and pressed on dual- colored vinyl. The album package includes arranger and producer Richard Hartley's handwritten diary of the original recording sessions, the muti-track sheet for "Don't Dream It, Be It" and photos from those sessions including that of Tim Curry, Meatloaf, director Jim Sharman and recording engineer Keith Grant, as well as Producer Richard Hartley at the Olympic Studios, London.

Naked Eyes is a British new wave band best known for their 1983 hit 'Always Something There to Remind Me'- a synth-pop cover of the Burt Bacharach and Hal David standard which became a top ten hit in the US.

Formed by Pete Byrne (vocals) and Rob Fisher (keyboards) in Bath, England, the duo gained success with their synth-driven sound and melodic hooks. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1983 and features the US Top 40 singles 'Promises, Promises', 'When The Lights Go Out', and 'Always Something There To Remind Me'. Reissued on vinyl for the first time and newly remastered by Phil Kinrade at AIR Mastering. The set features a second LP with B-sides, remixes by the legendary producer Jellybean (including a version of 'Promises, Promises' with additional vocals by Madonna), and a demo of the previously unreleased song 'Waiting In The Wings'. Pressed on two blue vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve with new notes by Pete Byrne. Despite Fisher's passing in 1999, Byrne has continued to perform under the Naked Eyes name and is touring the US throughout 2025. Also available on CD with additional previously unreleased demos and a 12-page booklet.

When the Grateful Dead took a self-imposed hiatus in 1974 after their farewell run at Winterland, they left the road with no clear sense of when—or if—they'd return. A year later, the band surprised everyone when they reemerged with Blues for Allah, one of the most forward-thinking, sonically adventurous albums of their career.

The vinyl features a newly remastered version of the original album by GRAMMY® Award-winning engineer David Glasser, sourced from the original analog tapes with speed correction and tape restoration by Plangent Processes.

Blues for Allah saw the Grateful Dead attempt something they never had before—and never would again. They would make the record almost entirely without pre-written material.

Working at Bobby Weir's home studio—just big enough to hold the band and their gear—the sessions took on an intimate, exploratory feel. Robert Hunter was back in the thick of it, writing lyrics on the spot as the songs took shape. Keith Godchaux's keys gave the album its spacious texture, while Donna Jean's harmony vocals elevated songs like "The Music Never Stopped." "Crazy Fingers" became, in Phil Lesh's words, "a marvelous essay in smoky ambiguity." The mostly instrumental title suite pushed even further out, with Bill Kreutzmann saying it "bordered on acid-jazz composition." Mickey Hart's role was central, weaving percussion—and slowed-down field recordings of crickets—into a rich, immersive tapestry of sound.

Mj Lenderman writes songs that are amorphous and elastic, rising to fill the venue they're in, generous to accommodate the number of players on stage, less concerned with replicating the studio version than they are with meeting the crowd where they're at. On And the Wind (Live and Loose!), the Asheville-based Lenderman handles most of the playing, but with The Wind, it's a multi-headed beast.

This live album is culled from sold-out summer 2023 shows on a brief headline run during what some might call a wild-*ss couple of months. It captures a near-euphoric moment in time - dizzying and exhausting and, most of all, having some real true-blue f*king fun with your best friends. It's 90s college rock meets Americana hootenanny, an electrifying piece of the Mj Lenderman lore that needs to be experienced live with a light beer in-hand - but in the interim, And the Wind (Live and Loose!) does it's best to commit the scene to tape.
