Vinyl LP pressing. 2016 album from the Grammy-nominated outfit. It took four years for The Lumineers to follow up their platinum-plus self-titled debut - which spent 46 weeks on the Billboard 200 and peaked at #2 - but Cleopatra is well worth the wait. During that time, The Lumineers - whose original members Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites founded the band in Ramsey, New Jersey back in 2002 - earned a pair of Grammy nominations (Best New Artist, Best Americana Album). Cleopatra proves Schultz and Fraites - along with cellist/vocalist Neyla Pekarek- are neither taking their good fortune for granted, nor sitting back on their laurels. With the help of producer Simone Felice (The Felice Brothers, The Avett Brothers), the man Wesley calls "our shaman," the band ensconced themselves in Clubhouse, a recording studio high atop a hill in rural Rhinebeck, N.Y., not far from Woodstock. The band had total artistic freedom in writing and recording the album, so Wesley and Jer pushed the envelope on experimental tracks like the stream-of-consciousness, purposely lo-fi "Sick in the Head," the yearning, piano chord build-up of "In the Light," or the closing orchestral instrumental, the aptly titled coda, "Patience." "We continue to make the kind of records we want to," says Wesley. "We believe in this music. It's a true labor of love. We just want to keep reaching more people with our songs." Given the evidence on The Lumineers' eagerly anticipated sophomore album Cleopatra, that shouldn't be a problem.

Because The Internet is the sophomore album from Childish Gambino, the stage name of Grammy, Golden Globe, and Emmy Award-winning recording artist, actor, and producer Donald Glover. Released in 2013, the album lends perspective to the complications born from an Internet-obsessed society. In creating Because The Internet, Glover set out to not just release an album but to build a world, also releasing a companion screenplay and short film, "Clapping For The Wrong Reasons." The album features appearances from Chance The Rapper, Jhene Aiko, and Azaelia Banks.

Originally released in 2000, White Pony is the third album by the Deftones and follow-up to 1997's Around the Fur. The album marks a significant growth in the group's sound and finds the band incorporating new wave/shoegaze influences into their signature alt-metal mix. Accessible and ambitious, Tears for Fears' phenomenal 10-million-selling second album, Songs From The Big Chair, marked a transition in the band's sound and catapulted them into international prominence. As a group, Tears for Fears led the "Second British Invasion" of pop music in the mid-'80s in both the U.S. and Europe with songs from the album dominating the radio airwaves. Pop's most promising and exciting new artist Billie Eilish releases her highly-anticipated and acclaimed debut EP Don't Smile At Me. In keeping with the quality of their magical, laconic music, the success of Mazzy Star's second album, So Tonight That I Might See seemingly came out of nowhere. Eventually going platinum, the record's unexpected climb to commercial prominence began on the back of the surprise success of its second single, the dreamily atmospheric "Fade Into You," which rose into the Billboard Top 50 seven months after its parent album first hit the racks in October 1993. Gloriously out of step with the zeitgeist, the introspective So Tonight That I Might See bore scant relation to the grungy guitar records dominating the alt-rock scene. Indeed, "Fade Into You" ironically began its steady ascent up the Billboard chart while the world mourned the death of Kurt Cobain.

The product of ad hoc studio sessions, So Tonight That I Might See made no attempt to hide its rough 'n' ready nature, with "She's My Baby" and the grinding, "Venus In Furs"-esque titular song sounding almost willfully loose. More often than not, however, the album nonchalantly sauntered towards genius, not least on the droning, acid-tinged "Mary Of Silence," the duo's skeletal, cello-enhanced cover of Arthur Lee's "Five String Serenade" and the strung-out blues-rock of the aptly-titled "Wasted."

The record initially sold modestly, despite attracting tuned-in critics such as Los Angeles Times' Steve Hochman, who enthusiastically proclaimed that it "may well be the best psychedelic blues album since Cream." However, just when observers were preparing to file it away as a slow-burning niche record, So Tonight That I Might See started its stealthy ascent up the Billboard chart, peaking at No. 36 and moving a million copies. Now available as a single LP on standard weight vinyl in celebration of Capitol Records' 75th anniversary.

Vinyl LP Reissue of Long Out of Print 1974 Dolly Parton Masterwork Jolene!

The Bob Ferguson-produced Jolene, recorded in 1972 and '73 in Nashville with the musical mecca's finest sessions musicians, is filled not only with richly tuneful songs, but a pair of numbers - "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You" - that topped the Country charts and remain Dolly Parton signatures to this very day. The oft covered title track tells the tale of a housewife confronting her husband's seductress while "I Will Always Love You" covers the professional breakup of Parton and her longtime duet partner Potter Wagoner (who contributed the aching "Lonely Comin' Down" here). In 1992 Whitney Houston made the latter an international pop smash. Jolene had more than a little to do with elevating Dolly Parton to the next level of solo stardom, now the most-decorated female country music performer of all time.

When the prevailing guitar jingle of 'Mr. Jones' cascaded over radio in the early 90s, it was a sure sign that the Counting Crows were a musical force to be reckoned with. Their 1993 debut album, August and Everything After, burst at the seams with both dominant pop harmonies and rich, hearty ballads, all thanks to lead singer Adam Duritz. The lone guitar work of 'Mr. Jones' coupled with the sweet, in-front pull of Duritz's voice kicked off the album in full force. The album cover depicts handwritten lyrics to a song called "August and Everything After", but the band decided against featuring the song on the album of the same name; it was not until over a decade later that it was played as part of one of their live concerts.
