There is a delicate balance to her work, a dance between veiled narratives and earnest emotions, between whispers and shouts. Throughout her full-length debut, Bridgers contemplates and reflects on personal experiences through her unique lyric writing perspective: there are overt references to lost idols, canonical pop songs and actual incidents, but her stories unfold through specific, evocative imagery sung in her subtle, confessional style. Limited double vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release, the highly anticipated third full length album from the much loved Australian band. Currents is the follow up to 2012's Lonerism. Kevin Parker, the musician behind Tame Impala, explained that Currents is about the process of personal transformation. He said, "It follows the progression of someone feeling like they are becoming something else. They're becoming the kind of person they thought they'd never become." The cover art for Currents was created by Kentucky-based artist and musician Robert Beatty. Released in August 1991, Pearl Jam's landmark debut, Ten was a dark, anthemic rock record which introduced the wider world to the unforgettable sound of Eddie Vedder's charismatic, honey'n'gravel-soaked growl. Capturing the mood of the times, his lyrics mostly dealt with disaffection and social dysfunction, with "Even Flow" touching on homelessness and the dramatic "Jeremy" reputedly inspired by a true story in which a high school student shot himself in front of his classmates. Ten initially sold slowly, but when the band's reputation as an unmissable live act kicked in after they supported the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the U.S. during the autumn of '91, the album gradually went gold and kept right on selling. It peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard chart in 1992, eventually going on to sell a phenomenal 13 million copies worldwide.

During the course of their career, The Smiths released a trifecta of compilation albums which every fan worth their salt felt obliged to own, even though two of them were originally only available in the UK and one was only available in the US. Double vinyl LP pressing of this newly-remastered 1996 album. Sublime is the eponymous third and final studio album by the ska punk band. The album was produced by Paul Leary and David Kahne. Sublime formed in 1988 in Long Beach, California by vocalist/guitarist Bradley Nowell, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Bud Gaugh. By the time it came to record this major label debut, Nowell had been struggling with a heroin addiction. Sublime was recorded over a period of three months in Austin, Texas. The album's musical style contains elements of punk rock, reggae, and ska, as well as dancehall, hip hop, and dub music, with tempos ranging wildly. Nowell's lyrical subject matter relates to relationships, prostitution, riots, and addiction.

Originally released in 1993, Siamese Dream is the breakthrough second album from the Smashing Pumpkins and one of the finest to ever come out of the alt-rock movement. Co-produced with Butch Vig and instrumentally recorded almost entirely by bandleader Billy Corgan himself, the guitar-heavy affair generated no less than four hit singles in "Cherub Rock," "Today," "Disarm" and "Rocket."

Master of Puppets was originally released on March 3rd, 1986, on Elektra Records and went on to become the first Metallica album to be certified Platinum by the RIAA. The album has been certified six-times Platinum in the United States and has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. In 2016, the album became the first metal album to be added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, an honor granted to works deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". Recorded at the Sweet Silence Studios with producer Flemming Rasmussen, it was their third album overall. It's pretty safe to say that most view The Queen Is Dead as the best full-length studio effort ever offered by the Smiths. It arrived in June of 1986 to a rapturous critical reception and its reputation has remained consistent ever since, with "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" in particular having gone on to be seen as a stone-cold classic even by those who aren't full-fledged Smiths fans. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find a publication on either side of the pond that doesn't acknowledge it as one of the greatest albums of the whole decade, thanks to songs like the dance-hall fun of "Frankly, Mr. Shankly," the impeccably depressing two-fer of "I Know It's Over" and "Never Had No One Ever," the jangly fun of "Cemetry Gates," and even the silliness of "Vicar in a Tutu."

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits on 180g 2LP

It's been 40 years since Tom Petty and his extraordinary band, The Heartbreakers, unleashed their eponymous debut. In the subsequent decades, Petty - both as a solo artist and as leader of the band - has sold over 80 million records worldwide, earned 18 Grammy nods and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. One of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. First released as part of The Dark Side Of The Moon 50^th Anniversary Box Set, this is the first time that the new remaster of the classic album will be available on its own.

The album was partly developed during live performances, and the band premiered an early version of the suite at London’s Rainbow Theatre several months before recording began. The Dark Side Of The Moon is the eighth studio album by Pink Floyd, originally released in March 1973.  The new material was recorded in 1972 and 1973 at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) in London. The iconic sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie. ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ has sold over 50 million copies worldwide.
