Born Here Live Here Die Here (Blue vinyl)
Regular price $35.00 Save $-35.00Modern-day country giant Luke Bryan presents a Deluxe Edition colored vinyl 2LP of his No. 1 album, Born Here Live Here Die Here complete with six new tracks in addition to the original 10 tracks including the three No. 1 Country singles "Knockin' Boots," "What She Wants Tonight," and "One Margarita," plus the Top 5 smash, "Down To One." The album, Bryan's seventh studio release, was produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens, and the star says of the title song: "The second I heard the song ‘Born Here, Live Here, Die Here' [written by Jameson Rodgers, Josh Thompson and Jake Mitchell] it related to me, how I grew up, how I have so many roots and so many ties to my hometown. Being tied to your hometown is very important in country music. I fell in love with the song right away and now we have an album and a tour derived from this song. It's pretty amazing. I'm proud of this new music and I'm really excited to get it out!"

Pink Cadillac (Brick & Mortar Exclusive)
Regular price $24.00 Save $-24.00Among the English language's premier phrase-turners with music relevant to any age, the late great John Prine was part of the Atlantic Records family for four signature albums before he jumped over to Asylum for another three records and eventually his own label Oh Boy. 1979's Pink Cadillac, Prine's pivotal sixth studio effort overall and second for Asylum, found the singer/songwriter recording at Sam Phillips' Memphis studio with the Sun Records' founder's sons Knox and Jerry (Sam even came out of retirement to produce two tracks himself). An eclectic mix of rock & roll and country split evenly between originals and covers, the raw and entertaining affair exhibits glimpses of that beloved "Sun Sound." "That was when Steely Dan and the Eagles were at the top of charts with records that were squeaky clean, and I wanted to make a record with some noise," Prine told Uncut. "I wanted people to hear chairs squeaking and things banging around, like you'd just walked into somebody's basement and there's a band playing."

The album is produced predominantly by Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan’s Stick Season) alongside a string of trusted collaborators like Josh Serrato, Amy Allen, Carrie K, and Sam Harris (X Ambassadors).
With a devoted cult audience, the Pittsburg, Texas native is known for showing off his versatility as a writer and his prowess as an interpreter of songs. Mixing country with rock, hip-hop, and grunge; 9 Lives proves that there’s much more to Koe’s story. There are big, emotional ballads like “Damn Near Normal,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Hatchet,” and easygoing country singalongs like “Bar Song,” “Casamigos” and “Reconsider.” Some of his vocal performances border on the gorgeous, tempering Wetzel’s image as an unrepentant hellion.

A Jason Isbell record always lands like a decoder ring in the ears and hearts of his audience, a soundtrack to his world and magically to theirs, too. Weathervanes carries the same revelatory power. This is a storyteller at the peak of his craft, observing his fellow wanderers, looking inside and trying to understand, reducing a universe to four minutes. He shrinks life small enough to name the fear and then strip it away, helping his listeners make sense of how two plus two stops equalling four once you reach a certain age - and carry a certain amount of scars. The record features the rolling thunder of Isbell's fearsome 400 Unit, who've earned a place in the rock 'n' roll cosmos alongside the greatest backing ensembles, as powerful and essential to the storytelling as The E Street Band or the Wailers.

I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days you’ll be sick of your old man, I’m sure, but, dang, we’ll have some fun too. Heart
Regular price $30.00 Save $-30.00Country hero Eric Church's new Heart & Soul project, which is his follow-up to 2018's Desperate Man, will be released in two installments, in quick succession. The Heart LP will be released on April 16 with the Soul LP coming hot on its heels on April 23. The collection was made with producer Jay Joyce and a creative team who recorded one track per day in sessions in early 2020 in the mountains of North Carolina.
Speaking at the 2020 CMA Awards, Church said: "The interesting thing about this process is that Jay kept asking me the last three or four days, ‘Are we done?' I kept saying, ‘God, this is going to be really hard. There's a lot here. Is this a double album? And if it's a double album, how do we leave out these five or six songs?' I am the hardest critic on making sure every song deserves to be on the record, and I beat this thing to death going, ‘This can't be that good. But it was just a special, special time, and a special, special project that I think will be among our best...That's where 'Heart & Soul' came from. That was everything we had."
"‘Heart On Fire' is the first song on the Heart album," says Church, "and normally if we had four songs about heart, with the way we used to do this we would cut three of them out and we'd do one. It started to be cool that this time we could lean into that sameness and the themes where you can put the songs together and know we wrote these within this much time of each other."
