For Senjutsu – loosely translated as ‘tactics & strategy’, the band once again enlisted the services of Mark Wilkinson to create the spectacular Samurai themed cover artwork, based on an idea by Steve Harris. And with a running time of a little under 82 minutes, Senjutsu, like their previous record The Book Of Souls, will be a double CD album/triple vinyl album.

Steve says "We chose to record at Guillaume Tell Studio in France again as the place has such a relaxed vibe. The setup there is perfect for our needs; the building used to be a cinema and has a really high ceiling so there’s a great acoustic sound. We recorded this album in the same way we did The Book Of Souls in that we’d write a song, rehearse it and then put it down together straight away while it was all fresh in our minds. There’s some very complex songs on this album which took a lot of hard work to get them exactly as we wanted them to sound, so the process was at times very challenging, but Kevin is great at capturing the essence of the band and I think it was worth the effort! I’m very proud of the result and can’t wait for fans to hear it."

Bruce Dickinson continues, "We’re all really excited about this album. We recorded it back in early 2019 during a break in the Legacy tour so we could maximize our touring yet still have a long set up period before release to prepare great album art and something special as a video. Of course the pandemic delayed things more - so much for the best laid plans – or should that be ‘strategies’!? The songs are very varied, and some of them are quite long. There’s also one or two songs which sound pretty different to our usual style, and I think Maiden fans will be surprised - in a good way, I hope!"

Vinyl 2LP-Set with Special Etching on Side D!

The Pretty Reckless' new album Death By Rock And Roll is easily their most ambitious release yet. It was written through the heartbreaking losses of Chris Cornell, who was one of frontwoman Taylor Momsen's musical muses, and longtime collaborator Kato Khandwala. The titular single became their fifth No. 1 at Active Rock Radio, a first for a female-fronted group.

The Pretty Reckless joined forces with Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil for "Only Love Can Save Me Now." Tracked at the legendary London Bridge Studio in Seattle, it marked the first time Matt and Kim recorded at the space since Soundgarden's Louder Than Love. Nearing the six-minute mark, it trudges through detuned bliss and an off kilter time signature before Kim conjures a slippery psychedelic solo as Taylor admits, "I want to be saved from the sound," over Matt's percussive wizardry.

Elsewhere, Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello lends his axe to the rambunctious and raucous "And So It Went." Then, there's "25" where Taylor's gravelly timbre quakes above an ominous funereal march and echoes of strings. Meanwhile, "Got So High" bleeds into a heavenly stoned refrain as an acoustic guitar rings out. After the nostalgic "Rock and Roll Heaven," the record sails off to Valhalla on "Harley Darling" ushered along by harmonica, the sound of an engine revving and a devilish dedication.

Originally released in 1995, Astro-Creep: 2000 is the equally as impressive follow-up to White Zombie's breakthrough 1992 album La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Vol. 1 and final studio offering before Rob Zombie went on to a solo career. Awash in futuristic themes thus the title and incorporating multiple programming techniques, samples, film dialogue and other effects with reckless abandon, Astro-Creep: 2000 also boasts a more industrial metal sound than its groove metal dominated predecessor, often referred to as "white-trash-on-acid metal." Not only was the album their most commercially successful thanks to the runaway hits "More Human than Human" and "Super-Charger Heaven," it was nominated for two Grammy Awards including Best Engineered Album and Best Metal Performance for "More Human than Human."

Voivod is a heavy metal band from Quebec that originally formed in 1982 and became one of the first Canadian thrash acts to receive international acclaim. They began as a speed metal band, while adding a mix of progressive and thrash metal to create their own unique style. BMG is proud to offer new remastered vinyl reissues of their trio of classic studio albums released on the Noise Records label including Rrröööaaarrr (1986), Killing Technology (1987) and Dimension Hatröss (1988).

Voivod's three albums for Noise Records from ‘86 to '88 ran the gauntlet from the initial speed metal overkill of Rrröööaaarrr, followed by the more experimental studio processes forged on Killing Technology, then onto the more realized progressive tendencies of Dimension Hatröss, which used studio sampling for the first time and, in doing so, laid the basis upon which many progressive metal bands have followed ever since.

Voivod continued to hone their distinctive blend of experimental speed-infused sci-fi to great effect on album number four. This definitive issue of 1988's Dimension Hatross is a must-have for any fan of these unique and groundbreaking progressive metal masters. The album has been re-mastered from the original tapes, pressed on high quality 180g heavy-weight vinyl and the artwork replicates the original release.

The album was Osbourne's first release following his firing from Black Sabbath in 1979. Blizzard of Ozz is the first of two studio albums Osbourne recorded with guitarist Randy Rhoads prior to Rhoads' death in 1982.
