Signs of Life is the fourth studio album by The Penguin Cafe Orchestra. It was recorded at the Penguin Cafe between 1985 and 1987. It includes "Perpetuum Mobile", one of their most famous pieces. The album reached number 49 on the UK Albums Chart. This is the first re-press since 1987 and uses the 2008 remaster. It is pressed on Orange vinyl.

After 25 years, The Get Up Kids' classic second album, Something to Write Home About, is still recognizable as the same electrifying, scrappy album it was upon release, but also transformed by time into one of the most seminal records of the band's scene. To celebrate the album's 25th anniversary, Polyvinyl Records is thrilled to announce a special deluxe reissue. The album has been meticulously remastered from the original tapes and will be paired with a slew of bonus material, including rare demo versions of multiple songs from the album as well as never-before released rarities from the era. Originally released in September of 1999, Something to Write Home About has been established as an important late-millennium rock-and-roll document; a convergence of power pop, alternative rock, and punk, it provided the parameters for emo's Midwest-centered second wave. To support the release, the band will also perform the album in full throughout a lengthy North American headline tour later this year.

This is the fourth Beak studio album, imaginatively titled . At it's core we always wanted it to be head music - listened to as an album, not as individual songs. This is why we are releasing this album with no singles or promo tracks. The recording and writing initially began in a house called Pen y Bryn in Talsarnau, Wales in the fallout from the weirdness of the COVID days. Remote and with only ourselves and the view of Portmeirion in the distance, we got to work. With the opening track, "Strawberry Line" (our tribute to our dear furry friend Alfie Barrow, who appears on the albums cover) as the metronomic guide for the album, we then resumed recording, as before, at Invada studios in Bristol, whilst still touring around Europe and North/South America. After playing hundreds of gigs and festivals over the years we felt that touring had started to influence our writing to the point we weren't sure who we were anymore. So we decided to go back to the origins of where we were at on our first album - with zero expectations and just playing together in a room. Hopefully we have achieved this.

Double vinyl LP pressing. Originally issued in January 2005, 'The Secret Migration' was the sixth album by Mercury Rev. In the UK, where the band were signed to V2, the album spawned two singles, 'In A Funny Way' and 'Across Yer Ocean'. Back in 2020, Cherry Red unveiled a deluxe 5CD edition of this sometimes overlooked album, compiled and co-ordinated in conjunction with Mercury Rev's twin lynchpins, Jonathan Donaghue and Sean 'Grasshopper' Mackowiak. Four years on, 'The Secret Migration' is treated to it's first-ever reissue on vinyl - and with the added bonus of a second disc. Joining the original album are various B-sides and originally unissued out-takes. Among the bonus are cover versions of Bobby Charles' Bearsville gem 'Tennessee Blues'; 'Afraid', originally by Chicago rock band Dovetail Joint; two Paul Westerberg songs, The Replacements' 'Androgynous' and his solo effort 'Good Day'; Daniel Johnston's 'Blue Clouds'; and 'I Never Had It So Good' by Paul Williams. Formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1989, MERCURY REV quick grew to become leading figures in left field alternative rock. Earlier albums veered towards experimental, off-kilter psychedelia but by the end of the decade, the band had developed their own brand of serene, piano-based Americana with the acclaimed, best-selling LP 'Deserter's Songs' (1998). Mercury Rev are currently active with forthcoming shows over the coming months around a brand new studio album.

Iggy Pop is an avant-garde icon and a punk pioneer. The Montreux Jazz Festival is a boundary-pushing event that brings the best of all musical genres to one gorgeous location every year. “Live At Montreux Jazz Festival 2023” (soon to be available as a 2LP Gatefold) captures the dazzling Iggy Pop performance that could only happen here.

First in a series of earMUSIC releases from the festival, this concert marked Iggy’s third appearance at the 57th edition of Montreux. Backed by a seven-piece band, Iggy breathes new fire into Stooges classics like “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and “T.V. Banana Peel Vinyl. Nearly seven years since their debut seven inch release, Tone Scientists are back with the five song "Kiiroi Tori" EP. The project joins Mike Watt and Bucky Pope, the latter of whom assumes the producer role this time around, with drummer John Herndon of Tortoise and two longtime Watt collaborators, flute/sax player Vince Meghrouni and keyboard player Pete Mazich. Like their first release, the EP includes an ambitious Sun Ra cover, with their distinctive take on "The Sun One", along with four tunes penned by Watt and Pope. The release will be available on two limited 12" vinyl pressings, one black and another on yellow swirl vinyl, as well as digital formats. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner (DSG Mastering) at 45RPM, with vinyl pressed at Furnace Record Pressing.
