With 15 years, 6 platinum-plus albums and as many Grammys under their collective belt, the Foo Fighters now mark off yet another milestone in their ascension to quintessential American rock royalty, an eagerly awaited Greatest Hits package. Foo Fighters Greatest Hits will feature two brand new tracks; "Wheels" which made its live debut at President Obama and the USO's July 4 barbeque at the White House honoring military heroes, and "Word Forward," both recorded especially for this collection at the band's own fabled 606 studio complex with producer Butch Vig. Originally released in 1993, Siamese Dream is the breakthrough second album from the Smashing Pumpkins and one of the finest to ever come out of the alt-rock movement. Co-produced with Butch Vig and instrumentally recorded almost entirely by bandleader Billy Corgan himself, the guitar-heavy affair generated no less than four hit singles in "Cherub Rock," "Today," "Disarm" and "Rocket." 

Built on rich, layered sonics and inherent dynamic tension, Siamese Dream stands alongside Nirvana's Nevermind and Soundgarden's Superunknown as the defining albums of the decade and alt-rock's Mount Rushmore.

Vinyl LP pressing. In 2011, an eponymous, self-recorded EP led to touring, and before long The Lumineers started attracting devout fans. They're drawn by songs like "Ho Hey" and "Stubborn Love," Americana-inflected barn burners in the vein of the Avett Brothers and Mumford & Sons. The roots revival of the last few yeas has primed listeners for a new generation of rustic, heart-on-the-sleeve music. In keeping with the quality of their magical, laconic music, the success of Mazzy Star's second album, So Tonight That I Might See seemingly came out of nowhere. Eventually going platinum, the record's unexpected climb to commercial prominence began on the back of the surprise success of its second single, the dreamily atmospheric "Fade Into You," which rose into the Billboard Top 50 seven months after its parent album first hit the racks in October 1993. Gloriously out of step with the zeitgeist, the introspective So Tonight That I Might See bore scant relation to the grungy guitar records dominating the alt-rock scene. Indeed, "Fade Into You" ironically began its steady ascent up the Billboard chart while the world mourned the death of Kurt Cobain.

The product of ad hoc studio sessions, So Tonight That I Might See made no attempt to hide its rough 'n' ready nature, with "She's My Baby" and the grinding, "Venus In Furs"-esque titular song sounding almost willfully loose. More often than not, however, the album nonchalantly sauntered towards genius, not least on the droning, acid-tinged "Mary Of Silence," the duo's skeletal, cello-enhanced cover of Arthur Lee's "Five String Serenade" and the strung-out blues-rock of the aptly-titled "Wasted."

The record initially sold modestly, despite attracting tuned-in critics such as Los Angeles Times' Steve Hochman, who enthusiastically proclaimed that it "may well be the best psychedelic blues album since Cream." However, just when observers were preparing to file it away as a slow-burning niche record, So Tonight That I Might See started its stealthy ascent up the Billboard chart, peaking at No. 36 and moving a million copies. Now available as a single LP on standard weight vinyl in celebration of Capitol Records' 75th anniversary.

Hybrid Theory is the debut album by the American rock band Linkin Park, released on October 24, 2000 through Warner Bros. Records. The album was a commercial success, having been certified Diamond for sales of over 10 million units in the United States alone as of 2010, peaking at number two on the Billboard 200, and also reaching high positions on other charts worldwide. Recorded at NRG Recordings in North Hollywood, California, and produced by Don Gilmore, the album's lyrical themes deal with problems lead vocalist Chester Bennington experienced during his adolescence, including drug abuse and the constant fighting and divorce of his parents. Hybrid Theory takes it's title from the previous name of the band as well as the concept of music theory and combining different styles. Four singles were released from the album: "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "Paper cut", and "In the End", all of them being responsible for launching Linkin Park into mainstream popularity. While "In the End" was the most successful of the four, all of the singles in the album remain some of the band's most successful songs to date. Although "Runaway", "Points of Authority", and "My December" from the special edition bonus disc album were not released as singles, they were minor hits on alternative rock radio stations thanks to the success of all of the band's singles and the album. At the 2002 Grammy Awards, Hybrid Theory was nominated for Best Rock Album. The album is listed in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. It was ranked #11 on Billboard's Hot 200 Albums of the Decade.A special edition of Hybrid Theory was released March 11, 2002, a year and a half after it's original pressing. Hybrid Theory has sold 27 million copies worldwide, which makes it the best selling debut album of the 21st century. Linkin Park performed the album in it's entirety for the first time at the Download Festival on June 14, 2014.

Modern Baseball was formed in 2011 by friends and guitarists Jacob Ewald and Brendan Lukens, who were soon joined by Ian Farmer on bass and Sean Huber on drums. The band self-released their first EP The Nameless Ranger in 2011 while still in high school. Shortly after the members relocated to Philadelphia to attend college and quickly gained a strong following in the Philadelphia music community, teaming up with locals Marietta to release the Couples Therapy split in the spring of 2012. Modern Baseball released their debut full-length Sports later that year on Lame-O Records, which they self-recorded and produced.

After spending the summer of 2013 touring heavily across the US, the band headed into Studio A in Philadelphia to self-record You're Going to Miss It All. Mixed by Jonathan Low at Minor Street Recordings and mastered by Will Yip, You're Going to Miss It All features 12 tracks that showcase the band's signature witty indie-pop.

Remastered edition of the 1989 debut album from Trent Reznor and Co. Featuring the original tracklisting and artwork. As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohio, Trent Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Tack head). The result was Pretty Hate Machine. All songs were written, arranged, programmed and performed by Reznor.

Considered a contemporary classic, this record was included in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time. Features production by Sean Slade and Paul Q Kolderie with mixing by Scott Litt and J Mascis. Live Through This was Hole's only album to feature bassist Kristen Pfaff before her death in June 1994. Recorded in October 1993, the album marked a divergence from the band's unpolished hardcore aesthetics to more refined melodies and song structure. The album's lyrics and packaging reflect Love's preoccupation with beauty, and it's songs contain repeated motifs of milk, motherhood, anti-elitism, and violence against women.

Blue Smoke vinyl. American Football's first album showcases cleanly picked guitars, intricate drumming, and the vocals of Mike Kinsella (Owen, Cap'n Jazz). The band, made up of Kinsella, Steve Holmes and Steve Lamos rooted itself in Champaign and recorded this album at Private Studios with Brendan Gamble (Braid). As a band, American Football dissolved into the history books almost as soon as this album was released, but it's success continued to grow in their absence and the band eventually reunited in 2014 for the record's 15th anniversary.
