12" 180-gram HQ virgin vinyl reissues of the original stereo mixes of the legendary band's six Jim Morrison-fronted studio albums. The reissues of these now historic albums - all originally released between 1967 and 1970 - are replicas of the initial vinyl offerings, including artwork and inner sleeves. The laquers were cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood, CA under the direct supervision of original Doors producer/engineer Bruce Botnick and Electra Records founder Jac Holzman. STRANGE DAYS, first out in October '67, went to #3 and introduced The Doors classics "People Are Strange," "Love Me Two Times" and "Strange Days."

Nearly two decades ago, Alanis Morissette released her jampacked greatest hits CD, THE COLLECTION. This summer it will see its vinyl debut.

THE COLLECTION covers the seven-time Grammy® Award-winner’s career between 1995 and 2005, when the Canadian popstar first broke out in the States. It includes a handful of Morissette’s well-known singles, several soundtrack selections, and her performance of Seal’s hit “Crazy,” which debuted on THE COLLECTION in 2005.

Five songs from her #1 album, JAGGED LITTLE PILL (1995), appear on the set, including the smash singles “You Oughta Know,” “Ironic,” and “You Learn.” The album catapulted Morissette to global stardom, earning her five Grammy® awards, including Album of the Year. The record was certified 16x platinum, selling over 33 million copies worldwide. It is the 16th best-selling album of all time in the U.S. and the third best-selling album by a female artist.

Morissette returned in 1998 with the triple-platinum album SUPPOSED FORMER INFATUATION JUNKIE, which is represented on THE COLLECTION by a trio of songs, including the Top 20 hit “Thank You.” “Hands Clean” from her 2002 platinum album, UNDER RUG SWEPT, is featured along with “Eight Easy Steps” from 2004’s SO-CALLED CHAOS.

Several songs on THE COLLECTION weren’t released on Morissette’s studio albums, like “Princes Familiar” from her 1999 gold-certified MTV Unplugged album and “Sister Blister” from the 2002 compilation FEAST ON SCRAPS. A few of the singer’s soundtrack contributions are featured here, including “Still” from Kevin Smith’s 1999 film, Dogma, where Morissette played the role of God.

Mannequin Pussy's music feels like a resilient and galvanizing shout that demands to be heard. Across four albums, the Philadelphia rock band that consists of Colins "Bear" Regisford (bass, vocals), Kaleen Reading (drums, percussion), Maxine Steen (guitar, synths), and Marisa Dabice (guitar, vocals) has made cathartic tunes about despairing times. "There's just so much constantly going on that feels intentionally evil that trying to make something beautiful feels like a radical act," says Dabice. "The ethos of this band has always been to bring people together." Their new album, I Got Heaven, which is out March 1 via Epitaph Records, is the band's most fully realized recording yet. They toured that release relentlessly and added guitarist Maxine Steen to the band's official lineup. The band changed their entire creative formula, choosing to write together in the studio in Los Angeles with producer John Congleton, over slowly crafting tracks at home. "Everyone felt empowered to speak up about their own ideas to make this thing the best it could possibly be," says Regisford.

Damon Johnson is the founding member of Brother Cane and has toured  the world as the guitarist for legends, Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy. Etta James (born James Etta Hawkins; January 25, 1938 - January 20, 2012) was an American singer. Her style spanned a variety of music genres including blues, R&B, soul, rock and roll, jazz and gospel. Starting her career in 1954, she gained fame with hits such as "The Wallflower", "At Last", "Tell Mama", "Something's Got a Hold on Me", and "I'd Rather Go Blind" for which she wrote the lyrics. She faced a number of personal problems, including drug addiction, before making a musical resurgence in the late 1980s with the album Seven Year Itch. James is regarded as having bridged the gap between rhythm and blues and rock and roll, and was the winner of six Grammys and 17 Blues Music Awards. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, the Blues Hall of Fame in 2001, and the Grammy Hall of Fame in both 1999 and 2008. Rolling Stone ranked James number 22 on their list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time and number 62 on the list of the 100 Greatest Artists.
