2016 Vinyl Reissue of 1986 Classic!

Very few albums are regularly credited with changing people's lives. R.E.M.'s Lifes Rich Pageant is one of them. For a generation that came of age in the 80s, as well almost everyone that came within earshot of its contents, the Georgia band's 1986 landmark effort remains an utterly distinctive sonic blend of elegance and whimsy, seriousness and humor, artfulness and accessibility. It's here that R.E.M. evolves beyond its college-rock identity albeit retains its youthful innocence, here where Michael Stipe's enigmatic vocals finally attain the same level of prominence as the group's potent rhythm section.

Lyrically, R.E.M. hits upon more concrete themes, and while Stipe's occasionally mumbled singing still lacks clear enunciation – a trait that adds to the songs' mystique and surrounding textures – there's no mistaking the overt political and environmental sentiments in tunes such as the hit "Fall on Me" and gorgeous "Cuyahoga." Similarly, "Flowers of Guatemala" epitomizes R.E.M.'s hallmark ability to turn allegory into dreamy poetry, the counterpoint melodies, atmospheric guitar fills, and majestic bridges all enchanting devices of a band that manages to get its point across via spiritual performances and indirect suggestiveness.

Such qualities lie at the heart of Lifes Rich Pageant, on which subtle details and concerted purposes unite to make transcendent, lasting art. Bolder, more pronounced, refined, and immediate than that on previous efforts, Mike Mills' bass lines and Peter Buck's swelling guitar passages augment the hard-driving beats as well as Stipe's increasingly upfront vocals. Disposing with the intentional murkiness and subconscious approach of earlier records, R.E.M. goes in attack mode here, with even mellow numbers resonating with an attention-getting kick. It doesn't hurt that the band covers the field with expertly executed songs that comprise garage rock, jangle pop, rustic country, and more either.

The Bends is the second studio album by Radiohead. In 1995, two years after an incredible debut in Pablo Honey, Radiohead were under tremendous pressure to deliver. Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Jason Isbell and his band the 400 Unit return with the highly anticipated new album, Reunions. Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb and recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A, the album features 10 new songs written by Isbell including the jangly call to action single, "Be Afraid."

Reunions is Isbell's seventh full-length studio album and the fourth released with his band, the 400 Unit: Derry deBorja (piano, keyboard, organ, omnichord), Chad Gamble (drums, tambourine), Jimbo Hart (bass), Amanda Shires (fiddle) and Sadler Vaden (acoustic guitar, electric guitar). The record also includes background vocals from special guests David Crosby (Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Byrds) and Jay Buchanan (Rival Sons).

Of the release, Isbell shares, "There are a lot of ghosts on this album. Sometimes the songs are about the ghosts of people who aren't around anymore, but they're also about who I used to be, the ghost of myself. I found myself writing songs that I wanted to write fifteen years ago, but in those days, I hadn't written enough songs to know how to do it yet. Just now have I been able to pull it off to my own satisfaction. In that sense it's a reunion with the me I was back then."

The Jimi Hendrix Experience Smash Hits on LP

Restored from the Original Analog Master Tapes with Alternative Artwork by Grammy-Winning Photographer Ed Thrasher!

Carefully restored from the original analog master tapes, featuring original poster and alternate cover art, the Legacy 2016 edition of the Jimi Hendrix Experience's Smash Hits includes timeless classics like "Purple Haze," "Hey Joe," "Red House" (a different take from the UK Are You Experienced version), "Fire" plus eight more essential Hendrix tracks. First released in 1969, Smash Hits has proved to be immensely popular, serving as a critical introduction to the Hendrix canon for successive generations of fans.

This 2016 edition of Smash Hits includes a recreation of the poster that came with the original U.S. LP release, depicting band members Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding dressed in western attire on horseback. The photograph, taken by Grammy-winning photographer Ed Thrasher (Grateful Dead, Neil Young, the Beach Boys) at Warner Bros. film studios in Burbank, CA in early 1969, was conceived as sleeve art for the album. Now, for the first time ever, Thrasher's photo finally graces the cover of Smash Hits, as originally intended.

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Animals is the tenth studio album by Pink Floyd, originally released in January 1977. It is a concept album that provides a scathing critique of the social-political conditions of late-70s Britain, and presents a marked change in musical style from their earlier work. Animals was recorded at the band's studio, Britannia Row, in London, but it's production was punctuated by the early signs of discord that three years later would culminate in keyboardist Richard Wright leaving the band. The album's cover image, a pig floating between two chimneys of the Battersea Power Station, was conceived by the band's bassist and lead songwriter Roger Waters, and was designed by long-time collaborator Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis. The album reached #2 on the UK Albums Chart. It was also a success in the United States, reaching #3 on the US Billboard 200.

The album title Badlands is a reference to Halsey's state of mind while writing the album, to give a physical place as a metaphor for a desolate and lonely mind. All songs were written by Halsey and the whole album was produced by Lido. So far, Halsey has sold out her first headline tour in minutes, peaked at #1 on both Billboard's Emerging Artists and Billboard's Trending Artists charts and become a worldwide trending topic on Twitter multiple times. Grammy Award Winning 2017 Collection (Best Rock Album) Available on Vinyl for the First Time!

Retro-rockers Greta Van Fleet issue their 2019 Grammy Award-winning (Best Rock Album) collection, From The Fires for the first time on vinyl! Originally released in November 2017, the eight-track set featured four brand new Greta Van Fleet recordings as well as the four critically-acclaimed tracks from the band's breakout EP Black Smoke Rising, including No. 1 singles "Highway Tune" and follow-up "Safari Song."

The four new tracks were recorded at Rust Belt Studios in Detroit and produced by the same duo that helmed Black Smoke Rising, Al Sutton and Marlon Young. According to the band's vocalist Josh Kiszka, compiling the four Black Smoke Rising tracks with the four new recordings made for an ideal grouping. "All eight of these songs share a theme of basic humanity," said Kiszka. Also included are distinct covers of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" and Fairport Convention's "Meet on the Ledge."

The cover art for From The Fires was conceived by Josh who said, "When we were all kids, our extended families and friends spent part of every summer together at a place called Yankee Springs. We were out in the middle of the woods, and every night, we'd sit around a campfire, play music and tell stories. I always loved that as it reminded me of ancient times when people would gather around the fires with the tribes' elders telling fables of wisdom and courage, passing down human history. That concept is where the cover art and title come from."
