Some Devil, Dave Matthews' seminal solo studio album is now on vinyl for the first time. Originally released in 2003, the highly introspective album was heralded as a fresh direction for Matthews and was a commercial success, selling over one million copies. Stereogum said: “Some Devil had some of [Dave’s] weightiest, most mature songwriting.” The album features beloved tracks "Stay Or Leave," "So Damn Lucky," and the Grammy-winning single, "Gravedigger." Some Devil was produced by Steve Harris and features musical contributions from Tim Reynolds, Trey Anastasio, Brady Blade, Tony Hall, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. J. Cole's fifth full-length effort, KOD debuted atop the Billboard 200 in April 2018, marking the North Carolina rapper's fifth consecutive No. 1 album. KOD - which stands for Kids On Drugs, King Overdosed and Kill Our Demons - takes us into a new world highlighting addictions of all sorts. The gold certified record is home to the two Top 10 singles "KOD" and "ATM." Cole explains the three acronyms starting with Kids On Drugs, "If I turn on the TV right now, it's not gonna take long for there to be an advertisement that pops up that says 'Are you feeling down? Amy Winehouse Frank on 2LP

Much can be said about the late Amy Winehouse, one of the U.K.'s flagship vocalists during the 2000s. The British press and tabloids seemed to focus on her rowdy behavior, afflictions and tragic end, but fans and critics alike embraced her rugged charm, brash sense of humor, and distinctively soulful and jazzy vocals.

Her platinum-selling breakthrough album, Frank (2003), elicited comparisons ranging from Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan to Macy Gray and Lauryn Hill. Interestingly enough, despite her strong accent and vernacular, one can often hear aspects of each of those singers' vocal repertoire in Winehouse's own voice. Nonetheless, her allure had always been her songwriting - almost always deeply personal but best known for its profanity and brutal candor.

With contributions from hip-hop producer/keyboardist Salaam Remi, Winehouse's amalgam of jazz, pop, soul, and hip-hop received rave reviews. The album was nominated for the 2004 Mercury Music Prize as well as two Brit Awards, and its lead single, "Stronger Than Me," won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song. In 2007 Frank re-entered the charts in the wake of the phenomenal success of her sophomore release, the five times Grammy Award winning chart-topper, Back To Black.

Superstar rapper Drake's latest full-length album, Scorpion has already smashed innumerable industry records, blowing just about every streaming record out of the water while making the artist the first to surpass 50 billion streams across all global streaming platforms along the way. A double album - divided between a hip-hop side and R&B side - Scorpion topped the Billboard Top 200 and its hit single "In My Feelings" dominated the Billboard Hot 100.

The sprawling 25-track affair features unreleased Michael Jackson vocals on the track "Don't Matter To Me," a song which appears to be built around previously unreleased music: Paul Anka is listed as a co-writer on the track. Scorpion also included appearances from Static Major, TY Dollah $ign and Jay Z. Their last album may have given them a certifiable radio hit, airtime on VH1, and a Kidz Bop tribute, but listening to the follow-up to 2004's Good News for People Who Love Bad News, you might get the sense that the members of Modest Mouse are flinching at the spotlight. We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, the group's fifth full-length release, is denser than its predecessor with tunes that seem willfully harder to penetrate. Even the addition of former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr to the line-up seems incidental, as Modest Mouse's off-kilter sound stays largely intact. But keep listening and it becomes obvious that the band hasn't lost any of his pop bite, especially midway through with a sweep of terrific songs like 'Missed the Boat,' 'Education' and 'Little Motel.' It's hard to tell if there's another 'Float On' in the bunch. In fact, the first single, 'Dashboard,' is one of the weakest Isaac Brock has ever penned. With Shins James Mercer adding lovely vocals to 'Florida,' however, it hardly matters.

Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP pressing including insert. Shangri-La Dee Da was the fifth studio album by American Hard Rock band Stone Temple Pilots. It was produced by Brendan O'Brien and released in 2001. The album was certified Gold. While recording the album, the band also worked on a documentary and coffee table book. Neither was released, however, and limited footage was made available through the band's official website in the form of live performance-based music videos. The album's most successful song 'Days of the Week' was only being performed at a handful of dates on the supporting tour for the album. However, the album's second single 'Hollywood Bitch' has become a staple of the band's live set ever since their 2008 reunion.
