Heartbreak Station, released in 1990, is the third studio album by American rock band Cinderella. The record climbed to No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and earned platinum certification the following year. VH1 described the album's shift in direction as "bluesy and brawny," a fitting summary for a project that produced three Billboard Hot 100 singles; "Shelter Me," "Heartbreak Station," and "The More Things Change." The album marked a deliberate move away from the glam‑metal sound that defined Night Songs and Long Cold Winter. Instead, Cinderella embraced a rawer, more stripped‑down blues approach. Speaking to the Los Angeles Daily News shortly before release, frontman Tom Keifer explained the evolution: the band aimed for a "rawer, simpler approach," reducing reverb and overdubs to let the songs breathe. Keifer also noted that blues played a major role in shaping his songwriting during this period. Adding to the album's depth, former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones arranged the string sections for two tracks. The band sought him out after being impressed by his orchestral work for artists like The Rolling Stones and Donovan. Heartbreak Station includes an insert with lyrics and is available on black vinyl.

Having lovingly reissued the first four albums by our all-time favorite all-female punk band, we now turn our attention to The Donnas' major label debut for the Atlantic label, where they went after recording a quartet of classics for Lookout! 2002's Spend the Night was by far the band's most popular album, hitting 62 on the Billboard charts, but it wasn't just the major label distribution mojo that upped the sales. This record doesn't have a dud on it, and boasts such Donnas devastators as "Who Invited You," "Take It Off," "You Wanna Get Me High," and "Pass It Around." Indeed, with one killer hook after another, the big mystery about this record is, why didn't it make them superstars? Love at First Sting is the ninth studio album by Scorpions. It was released on March 27, 1984 on Harvest/EMI and Mercury. Love at First Sting is notable in that it was one of the first digitally recorded hard rock records ever released. It became the group's most successful album in the USA, where it peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart in 1984, and went double-platinum by the end of the year, reaching triple-platinum status in 1995. The song "Rock You Like a Hurricane" reached #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the same year, "Still Loving You" reached #64 on the same chart, #14 in Germany, #3 in the French and Swiss Top 50.

Double LP 2008 reissue on 180-gram vinyl. Few live albums are as revered as The Allman Brothers Band's "Live at the Fillmore East." More than just the raw energy on stage and from the crowd, it is the electric, jazz-like interplay between the performers that sets a high bar for jam bands to reach. The impeccable rhythm blended with masterful instrumental work, keeps fans coming back for more. Most noteworthy are the dueling lead guitars of Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, and the instrumental byplay between Duane and his brother Gregg on the keyboards. Taken from a series of live shows in San Francisco recorded in March of 1971, "Live at the Fillmore East" was an instant classic. It became the band's high watermark, but was tragically followed by the motorcycle deaths of Duane and bassist Berry Oakley. This double vinyl reissue was pressed in 2008 on audiophile-quality, 180-gram vinyl.

Released in March 1996, Milk & Kisses is the eighth and final studio album by Cocteau Twins. And like it's predecessor, 1993's Four Calendar Café, it's yet to be formally released on vinyl outside Europe. That all changes next January when 4AD will reissue both titles in the United States. The second of two albums Cocteau Twins released via Fontana / Capitol Records after their long association with 4AD ended in 1990 with Heaven or Las Vegas, the band warmed the waters for Milk & Kisses with a pair of exceptional EPs where they took their music to new places, Twinlights and Otherness - the first largely acoustic, the second their only sanctioned remixes (done with Seefeel's Mark Clifford). A period of high creativity for the band, renewed after a turbulent time, they recorded and produced Milk & Kisses between their September Sound studio in London and the coastal town of Pors Poulhan in Brittany, France. Featuring the singles 'Tishbite' and 'Violaine' and fan favourites such as 'Serpentskirt' and 'Treasure Hiding', the album is a cathartic listen too with MOJO saying in a glowing review that the album's title "accurately intimates it's soothing, healing powers." Ultimately, Milk & Kisses also proved to be their swan song, bringing the curtain down on 14 years of wonder to leave an incredible legacy that new generations continue to discover to this day. 4AD are delighted to announce that they're working with the band on reissuing both Four Calendar Café and Milk & Kisses in the United States, with CD and black vinyl editions of both titles coming out on January 12th 2024.
