Viva Hate
Regular price $31.00 Save $-31.002012 two x LP pressing, pressed on heavy weight vinyl. 'Viva Hate' has now been remastered for the first time (supervised by the original producer Steven Street) and comes with brand new artwork, an introduction by Chrissie Hynde and now includes the rare track 'Treat Me Like a Human Being'. Morrissey's debut album 'Viva Hate' was originally released in March 1988 just six months after the release of the final Smiths' album. 'Strangeways, Here We Come'. Keeping the core jangling guitar sound of his previous band, Morrissey's first record provided the ultimate platform for his by-then legendary lyrical abilities, resulting in a set of what would become classic Morrissey tracks: 'Suede head', 'Everyday Is Like Sunday', 'Little Man, What Now?' and the 'Margaret on a Guillotine' to name a few.

Will Of The People [Explicit Content] (IEX Bone Vinyl)
Regular price $27.00 Save $-27.00"Will Of The People was created in Los Angeles and London and is influenced by the increasing uncertainty and instability in the world," says the band. "A pandemic, new wars in Europe, massive protests & riots, an attempted insurrection, Western democracy wavering, rising authoritarianism, wildfires and natural disasters and the destabilization of the global order all informed Will Of The People. It has been a worrying and scary time for all of us as the Western empire and the natural world, which have cradled us for so long are genuinely threatened. This album is a personal navigation through those fears and preparation for what comes next." And on single "Compliance" they note that it's "about the promise of safety and reassurance sold to us by powerful entities during times of vulnerability. Gangs, governments, demagogues, social media algorithms & religions seduce us with misleading untruths and comforting fables. They want us to join their narrow worldview in exchange for obedience and turning a blind eye to our own internal voice of reason & compassion. They just need our Compliance."

A Very Lonely Solstice (IEX) (Clear) (Colored Vinyl, Clear Vinyl, Indie Exclusive)
Regular price $28.00 Save $-28.00Robin Pecknold brings light to the bleakest of winters with Fleet Foxes' 'A Very Lonely Solstice,' a 13-track career spanning collection recorded in December 2020, at Brooklyn, NY's St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church. Now being released for the first time on vinyl, CD and digital formats, 'A Very Lonely Solstice' captures a poignant moment in time. The recording was originally broadcasted as a live-stream event on the winter solstice of 2020, just days after New York declared a state of emergency tightening restrictions again in response to increasing COVID-19 cases. Pecknold describes the set as "me by myself on the longest night of the year... honoring the loneliness of 2020 with a nylon string and some songs new and old." Fans worldwide tuned in while quarantined at home, finding solace and a sense of community in a period of extreme isolation. Much of 'A Very Lonely Solstice' showcases a solo focus on Pecknold who offers up acoustic arrangements of fan-favorite songs spanning Fleet Foxes' catalog. Selections cover all four of the band's studio albums, including their 2008 self-titled debut album ("Tiger Mountain Peasant Song") to 2011's Helplessness Blues ("Blue Spotted Tail") and 2017's Crack-Up ("If You Need To, Keep Time On Me"), all the way to their latest release, Shore. Resistance Revival Chorus joins Pecknold on Shore tracks "Wading In Waist-High Water" and "Can I Believe You." Also featured: a cover of Nina Simone's "In The Morning" and a rearrangement of the traditional "Silver Dagger."

Pieces Of You
Regular price $37.00 Save $-37.00Vinyl 2LP Reissue of Long Out of Print 1995 Debut with 5 Bonus Tracks; Lacquers Cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering & Pressed at Memphis Record Pressing
Long out-of-print on vinyl, Craft Recordings reissues the landmark 1995 debut album from Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter/poet Jewel which has been certified a staggering 12x platinum and stands as one of the best selling debuts of all time. This double vinyl LP edition of Pieces of You features five vinyl only bonus tracks that originally appeared as B-sides on the album's single releases. The lacquers were cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and it was pressed at Memphis Record Pressing.
Signed before she was 19, Jewel credits her great mentors Bob Dylan, and Neil Young who took the time to encourage her as a young artist, advising her to take risks and make music she is authentically interested in. Pieces of You was recorded in a studio on Young's ranch, and included his backing band, The Stray Gators. The album stayed on the Billboard 200 chart for two years (peaking at No. 4) and spawned Top 10 hits including the certified platinum single "You Were Meant for Me," "Who Will Save Your Soul," and "Foolish Games.
Rolling Stone described Pieces of You as "a record that carved out a perfectly confessional, coffeehouse niche between the decline of grunge and the rise of slinky pop princess."

A Collection of Great Dance Songs
Regular price $30.00 Save $-30.00Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. A Collection of Great Dance Songs is a compilation album by Pink Floyd, released on 23 November 1981 by Harvest Records. The title is facetious, given that Pink Floyd are not known for making particularly danceable music. This is perhaps evidenced by the album art, which featured a photograph of ballroom dancers anchored to the ground so they cannot move. The album contains alternative mixes of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" (which comprises parts 1, 2, 4 and 7) edited down for time reasons, and "Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" (which combines the intro from the single mix with the album version). Also, the track "Money" was re-recorded as Capitol Records refused to license the track to Columbia/CBS Records. David Gilmour re-recorded the track himself, guitars, keyboards, bass guitar and vocals and co-producing the song with James Guthrie. Dick Parry reprised his saxophone role on the track. There are some differences between the re-recorded version and the original; mainly in the saxophone and guitar solos and the overall use of reverb. The drumming is noticeably different from Nick Mason's, especially during the guitar solo, with very little of the tom-tom fills heard on the original.

Let It Be Special Edition (Super Deluxe 4 LP + 12" EP Box Set)
Regular price $200.00 Sale price $150.00 Save $50.00Special Edition Super Deluxe 180g Vinyl 4LP + 12" Box Set featuring New Stereo Mix of Original Album, 27 Previously Unreleased Session Recordings, Let It Be EP, and Never-Before-Released Get Back Stereo LP Mix Compiled by Glyn Johns Plus 105-Page Hardbound Book!
The Beatles' chart-topping 1970 album Let It Be receives a range of beautifully presented Special Edition packages in October 2021! The new Special Edition follows the universally acclaimed remixed and expanded anniversary editions of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (2017), The Beatles (aka The White Album) (2018), and Abbey Road (2019). All of the new Let It Be releases feature a new stereo mix of the album, as guided by the original "reproduced for disc" version by Phil Spector, sourced directly from the original session and rooftop performance eight-track tapes. The Super Deluxe collection also features 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track Let It Be EP, and the never-before-released 14-track Get Back stereo LP mix which was compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969.
The Super Deluxe vinyl collection's beautiful book features Paul McCartney's foreword; an introduction by Giles Martin; a remembrance by Glyn Johns; insightful chapters and detailed track notes by Beatles historian, author, and radio producer Kevin Howlett; and an essay by journalist and author John Harris exploring the sessions' myths vs. their reality. The book is illustrated, scrapbook style, with rare and previously unpublished photos by Ethan A. Russell and Linda McCartney, as well as never before published images of handwritten lyrics, session notes, sketches, Beatles correspondence, tape boxes, film frames, and more.
While recorded in 1969, Let It Be remains the Beatles' final salvo due to its release in 1970 and the internal tensions that mark the album. Filled with a litany of underrated gems, it also hosts the universally recognized gospel-laden title track, on a par with the best material the Beatles ever recorded. Controversial due to its involvement of Spector, Let It Be marks a return to a drier, back-to-basics live-in-the-studio sound. Seldom, if ever, were the Beatles so raw and direct, as the folksy harmonies on "Two of Us" and straight-ahead charge of "I've Got a Feeling" demonstrate. And the orchestral and choir arrangements on the Spector-treated "The Long and Winding Road" simply soar.

Tattoo You-40th Anniversary Edition (2xLP)
Regular price $38.00 Save $-38.0040th Anniversary Deluxe 180g Vinyl 2LP Reissue featuring Stephen Marcussen's 2021 Remaster Plus Bonus Disc with 9 Previously Unreleased Songs from the Period Newly Completed by the Band!
Tattoo You celebrates 40 years with a deluxe gatefold 180g vinyl 2LP reissue of the chart topping, multiplatinum 1981 album featuring Stephen Marcussen's newly remastered original album alongside Lost & Found, a brand new collection of nine previously unreleased songs from the period of the album's original release, newly completed and enhanced with additional vocals and guitar by the band. Among these, "Living In The Heart Of Love" is a quintessential Stones rock workout with all of the group on top form, complete with urgent guitar licks and fine piano detail. Other highlights include a killer version of "Shame, Shame, Shame," first recorded in 1963 by one of the band's blues heroes, Jimmy Reed; their reading of Dobie Gray's soul gem "Drift Away;" and a fascinating reggae-tinged version of "Start Me Up."
The Tattoo You (40th Anniversary Edition) follows the 2020 reissue of the Stones' 1973 landmark Goats Head Soup, which took the album back to No. 1 in the U.K. Remarkably, this marked the second time their peerless catalog had produced a U.K. chart-topper twice over, after 2010's deluxe edition of their 1972 staple Exile On Main St. On first release, Tattoo You, produced by the Glimmer Twins with associate producer Chris Kimsey, topped the charts in the U.S. (where it went quadruple platinum), Canada, Australia and across much of Europe, with gold and platinum awards around the world. Tattoo You introduced such enduring Stones favorites as "Hang Fire," "Waiting On A Friend" (showcasing jazz saxophone giant Sonny Rollins) and of course the opening track that's been a band signature ever since, "Start Me Up."

Whole New Mess
Regular price $24.00 Save $-24.00Featuring Stripped-Back Versions of Songs from Olsen's Acclaimed 2019 Release All Mirrors Plus Two Previously Unreleased Tracks, Recorded to Tape at Church-Turned-Studio Using Only Guitar and Organ!
An intimate and vulnerable emotional portrait that shows her grappling with a period of personal tumult, Whole New Mess presents Angel Olsen working through her open wounds and raw nerves with just a few guitars and some microphones, isolated in a century-old church in the Pacific Northwest. It follows All Mirrors, Olsen's grand 2019 masterpiece (and a top 10 critically acclaimed record). At least 9 of the 11 songs should sound familiar to anyone who has heard All Mirrors. "Lark," "Summer," "Chance" – they're all here, at least in some skeletal form and with slightly different titles. But these are not the demos for All Mirrors. Instead, Whole New Mess is its own record with its own immovable mood.
If the lavish orchestral arrangements and cinematic scope of All Mirrors are the sound of Olsen preparing her scars for the wider world to see, Whole New Mess is the sound of her first figuring out their shape, making sense for herself of these injuries. To record Whole New Mess, Olsen asked for a studio recommendation from Electro-Vox head engineer and a deep kindred spirit Michael Harris. She wanted to find a space where, as she puts it, "vulnerability exists." They settled on The Unknown, the Catholic church that Mount Eerie's Phil Elverum and producer Nicholas Wilbur converted into a recording studio in the small town of Anacortes, WA. Anacortes would act as a kind of harbor for Olsen, limiting distractions as she tried to burrow inside of these songs.
The results are staggering, somehow disarmingly candid and dauntingly personal at once. The opening title track – one of two songs here that did not appear on All Mirrors – is a blunt appraisal of how low Olsen got and how hard the process of pulling herself back upright was, especially when being an artist can mean turning your emotions into someone else's entertainment. Considered alongside All Mirrors, Whole New Mess is a poignant and pointed reminder that songs are more than mere collections of words, chords, and even melodies. They are webs of moods and moments and ideas, qualities that can change from one month to the next and can say just as much as the perfect progression or an exquisite chord.
In that sense, these 11 songs – solitary, frank, and unflinching examinations of what it's like to love, lose, and survive – are entirely new. This is the sound of Angel Olsen, sorting through the kind of trouble we've all known, as if just for herself and whoever else needs it.
