On Ghosts In The Machinery, The Head And The Heart share a collection entirely new arrangements and acoustic reinventions of favorite tracks from their most recent studio album, Aperture. These tracks were approached with an emphasis on intimacy in the recordings, a closer focus on vocal harmonies, and delicate production. Pressed on limited edition ‘Cloudy Lens’ vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day Black Friday.

The first-ever collection of The English Beat's BBC Radio appearances from 1979-1982. This 2LP release, pressed on Clear vinyl, features recordings from the legendary John Peel and Mike Read shows and captures the band's energetic spirit with performances of their hits, including "Mirror In The Bathroom" and "Save It For Later."

The Doors’ Live in Copenhagen presents a previously unreleased concert in its entirety, the legendary band recorded at Falokner Centret in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 17, 1968. The 2-LP release on crystal-clear vinyl includes both the early and late sets, featuring electrifying performances of “Break On Through (To The Other Side),” “Light My Fire” and “Hello, I Love You,” among others.

Live at Place des Arts, Montreal - April 10, 1977 has never been released on vinyl. It includes the original, iconic members of Froese, Franke and Baumann. This performance is cited as a key moment in their career, showcasing their ability to create complex soundscapes live. Liner notes and remastering by Wouter Bessels (Tangerine Dream historian). Triple vinyl package includes OBI side spine, full color printed inner sleeves, a Tri-Fold out Jacket and Red/White vinyl effects include one Color in Color LP, One Marble LP and One Splatter LP.

Focusing on fans, a collectable, alternate way of revisiting Sugar’s iconic 1992 album, Copper Blue. The Singles Collection is presented on 4 x 12” singles exclusively for RSD Black Friday.

A companion piece to the recently successful Ruby Vroom 30th Anniversary edition, these are all the remixes in the vault, which came out only on promo CDs and never saw commercial release. The band will reunite again in 2026!

Amusing the Amazing is a four song EP by American stoner rock band Slo Burn, originally released in 1997 by Malicious Vinyl. The band was fronted by vocalist John Garcia, formerly of Kyuss, and included guitarist Chris Hale, bassist Damon Garrison, and drummer Brady Houghton. The EP was co-produced by Slo Burn and Chris Goss, and is pressed to vinyl (with an etched B-side) for the first time as part of RSD Black Friday.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Robbie Robertson has enthralled music lovers since The Band’s Music From Big Pink changed all the rules for popular music in 1968. Through his career with The Band through his Grammy-nominated and acclaimed solo work, Robertson also excelled in the art of scoring motion pictures. It began with Martin Scorsese’s 1978 film The Last Waltz. Next was Carny (which Robertson produced and starred in with Gary Busey and Jodie Foster), and another Scorsese classic, Raging Bull, both in 1980. (Robertson’s connection to Scorsese lasted over four decades more, with Robertson receiving a posthumous Oscar nomination for 2023’s Killers Of The Flower Moon.)
Film Works: Insomnia explores those first three films: The Last Waltz, Carny, and Raging Bull. Released in conjunction with his memoir, Insomnia name which explores his decades long creative partnership with Martin Scorsese, Film Works: Insomnia features tracks from those three scores, including a previously unissued track from the film Carny.
Developed with Robbie’s estate, Film Works: Insomnia is a look into the genesis of Robertson’s film work, and shows how his informed take on the musical element compliments the visual.
Available on black vinyl for RSD Black Friday 2025, Film Works: Insomnia features liner notes longtime noted film/television music expert Jon Burlingame which not only address the music of the films featured, but of the Robertson/Scorsese connection. Insomnia shows how Robbie’s music transcends the silver screen. It is difficult to imagine a film without music. It’s also incredible to hear how perfectly Robertson’s film music lives on alone.

Growing up, I always loved my dad’s music. The recordings he made at that time were never properly released and only came out in limited quantities. We had the idea of re-recording some of his more recent songs with some guest artists to shed more light on his great back catalogue. Over the years we met a lot of the amazing musicians who lent their voices to this project and gave the songs new life. The Lemon Twigs are not the phenomenon they are by accident. Brian & Michael D’Addarios’ father is a brilliant songwriter and musician in his own right. The Lemon Twigs pay tribute to him by producing and performing on a collection of their father’s music (with Ronnie involved every step of the way).
Songs By Ronnie D’Addario features 13 tracks written by Ronnie with special guests and collaborators: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Todd Rundgren adds his layered lead and backing vocals to “I See The Patterns” and Canada’s Mac DeMarco leads “Love’s Won Me Over.” Sean Ono Lennon, Darian Sahanaja & Probyn Gregory (The Wondermints, The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson’s band), and Matt Jardine contribute vocals and accompaniment to others – all while The Lemon Twigs and Ronnie D’Addario hold down the performances on these stellar tracks.

2025 marks thirty years since the release of ODB’s iconic debut album, Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version. To mark the anniversary, the album’s energetic crowd pleasers “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and “Brooklyn Zoo” are being released as part of RSD Black Friday, on a 12” single — pressed on color vinyl and inclusive of all their extended, instrumental, stripped and remixed versions.

Live in Reims Cathedral, 1974 - This former member of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND - Singer/Songwriter, Model/Actress, Solo Artist/Music Icon. NICO seemed to be at the epicentre of all that was cool before sadly dying in 1988. On December 13, 1974, NICO opened for Tangerine Dream's concert at Reims Cathedral in Reims, France. The concert has gone down in rock history as a “Legendary” event as it was the very first time a Catholic Church in Europe was to host a rock concert. It was so controversial at the time, that after the concert the Vatican forbade all rock shows in Europe. This one-time worldwide new vinyl pressing includes a never before released vibrant magenta opaque color LP with new vinyl mastering. The deluxe packaging includes an OBI side spine and printed innersleeve with all new album art work from the 1974 era.

After their 2007 breakthrough classic The Art Of Partying, Richmond thrashers Municipal Waste changed things up slightly for their final Earache album, 2009’s Massive Aggressive. Still packed with upbeat anthems like Wolves Of Chernobyl and lead single Wrong Answer, the album takes a darker, more mature approach to the band’s signature party thrash, leaving behind the beer bongs in favour of social commentary whilst retaining all the unhinged energy you’d expect from Municipal Waste.

Massive Aggressive hasn’t been pressed on vinyl since its original 2009 release, and with all those copies long sold out, it was high time to be re-pressed on wax. Housed in a lavish gatefold sleeve, these Toxic Green and Purple Merge LPs are exclusively available for RSD Black Friday.

Mad Season (Live 2001) is Matchbox Twenty’s first full-length live album, capturing never-before released performances from their tour supporting the multi-platinum Mad Season. Riviera '76 – The Godfather of Fusion is back with newly discovered material from the French Radio Archives. This Festival was the Rock/Jazz "Woodstock" of 1976 in Le Castellet, France. The Eleventh House was a superstar jazz fusion group at this time led by the guitarist Larry Coryell. This material has never been released on a physical format before. This single vinyl package includes an OBI side spine, full color printed inner sleeve and a beautiful Crystal Clear Color vinyl LP.
