In their short time together, Albert Ayler and Don Cherry created a body of music that genuinely exists in the moment. Oblivious to rules and aesthetic boundaries, they played what they felt on their nerve-ends, embracing mistakes and wrong turns as part of the experience of making art in the moment.
Now over sixty years old, these recordings breathe as strongly and sound as vividly as they did when they were made. This 4xLP box set contains four sets of recordings from the fall of 1964, including live sets at Copenhagen's Jazzhus Montmartre and a VARA Radio session in The Netherlands. Albert Ayler's vital free jazz quartet featured Don Cherry on cornet, Gary Peacock on double bass and Sunny Murray on drums. The audio has been remastered and compiled together for the first time on vinyl, and the release includes a fold-out insert with extensive liner notes from Brian Morton. It comes to record stores first on November 28 as part of RSD Black Friday.

Anthology 4 - Triple LP. The new volume from The Beatles Anthology Collection.

Anthology 4, is newly curated by Giles Martin, including 13 previously-unreleased session outtakes dating from 1963 to 1969. It also includes the band’s final single, ‘Now And Then’, released in 2023, and new mixes of The Beatles’ Anthology-associated hit singles: the GRAMMY-winning ‘Free As A Bird’ and ‘Real Love’, given new life by their original producer, Jeff Lynne, using de-mixed John Lennon vocals. Furthermore, Anthology 4 presents 26 tracks that have never previously been released on vinyl.

The track notes are written by Kevin Howlett with an introduction compiled from 1996 interviews recorded with The Beatles’ close friend and adviser Derek Taylor.

Pressed on 180g black vinyl, the triple LP is housed within poly-lined inner bags and a triple gatefold sleeve.

Prince's seventh studio album, and the second to be credited to Prince and the Revolution, Around The World In A Day, was released on April 22, 1985. Featuring no fewer than four singles, Around The World In A Day saw Prince and the Revolution change musical direction yet again, experimenting with psychedelic textures, incorporating new instrumentation, and expanding the genres of songs within the album. With audio newly remastered by original mastering engineer Bernie Grundman, with additional mastering by Chris James, the Around The World In A Day 2025 Remaster will be available November 21, 2025 on 140g black vinyl.

Undermind', Phish's eleventh full-length studio album is now available on vinyl for the first time in a 2-LP set on JEMP Records. 'Undermind' was recorded at The Barn in Vermont by producer Tchad Blake with Pete Carini in February 2004 and mixed by Tchad in England at Real World Studios in March 2004. Additional recording spanning 2002-2004 was used for "Scents And Subtle Sounds (Intro)", "Grind", "and "Undermind" with Ray Paczkowski doubling on Fender Rhodes for the title track. The majority of songs were written by Trey Anastasio and Tom Marshall, along with Scott Herman on "Scents And Subtle Sounds" and "Undermind". Page McConnell contributed "Army Of One", Mike Gordon "Access Me", and Jon Fishman "Tomorrow's Song". The instrumentals "Maggie's Revenge" and internet/vinyl bonus "Tiny" were excerpted from a full-band improvised 47-minute studio jam dubbed "Headphones Jam". "Secret Smile" included an eleven-piece string section arranged by Maria Schneider. The single "The Connection" remains in occasional live rotation along with most of the album. Overall 'Undermind' is lush and evocative, with themes reflecting two decades of shared band experience. 'Undermind' was Phish's last album on Elektra Records, with the band ultimately founding their own JEMP records in 2005. 'Undermind' was originally mastered for CD by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering and released by Elektra on June 15, 2004. Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers for the 2025 vinyl, which was pressed in a numbered edition on 180g audiophile vinyl

Fionn Regan's 2024 album O Avalanche, available on vinyl for the first time.

  "I float sometimes when you're around," sings Irish singer-songwriter Fionn Regan on "Islands", setting the weightlessly romantic tenor for his seventh album. Written in Spain, O Avalanche is an album of levitating intimacies, abstract and intuitive yet infused with a tangible sense of the elevating ties between environment and emotion. Between it's sun-dappled backdrops and lambent arrangements, the result is a set of sublime songs and something more: it's a record to float with, immersive, uplifting and transporting.   His first since 2019's beautiful Cala, it's also an album that is, in Fionn's words, "very much on a level" - shimmering with poetic mystery and bolstered by a sustained feel for atmosphere and shape. As Fionn explains, "I see it sort of like a film that starts cinematically and develops in abstract ways. It moves in different sequences, backwards and forwards. And if you're thinking about it in a visual way, there's a quality about it where it's always magic hour."   "I feel like the album has got quite a lot of bottled-summer energy running through it," says Fionn. It took him two or three albums' worth of material to find the songs that felt simpatico - the ones that "started to hang out together and fought their way to becoming the album". Capturing the mood, Fionn wrote the record while staying in Majorca, a place he describes as his "true north": "There's a sense of an artistic energy there, where you step back a little from the main drag of bigger cities. You're sat there in the mountains looking towards the cities, rather than the other way. There's a kind of focus, a feeling that you're tuned in to something."   Co-produced with Ian Grimble, O Avalanche steers Regan's off-the-main-drag feel for climate and landscape towards another creative peak, forging a record to lose yourself in. "It's like you're looking into this world where there's a depth of field, it's summer, and you're floating into and out of it," he says of the album. "The songs can come together in the moment, so it's not a conscious thing, but when I listen to the record it feels like there's an eternal optimism about it - a kind of upward-feeling energy." With the gentlest of touches, O Avalanche will sweep you off your feet.

Boon and Mike Watt's New Alliance Records. The album was recorded after vocalist Milo Aukerman returned from college, and is the first of two Descendents releases to feature guitarist Ray Cooper. It found the band leaning even harder into their penchant for irresistible melodies, often with a much brighter sound than what could be found on Milo Goes To College. This sonic evolution helped the band evade falling into a sophomore slump, and only strengthened their already-cemented legacy.
