Chris Cornell-Greatest Hits
Regular price $42.99 Save $-42.99First Ever Retrospective of Chris Cornell's Career Covering Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave and Solo Works Plus 2 Unreleased Recordings!
180g 2LP Edition Includes 17-Tracks Plus 12-Page Booklet With Unreleased Photos and Liner Notes By Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, Tom Morello, Mike McCready and Brendan O'Brien
The recorded legacy of musical icon and singer/songwriter Chris Cornell is celebrated with the new 17-track self-titled collection, Chris Cornell, the first release since his passing in 2017. Chris Cornell commemorates his life and legacy not only as a singer, but as a poet and one of the most prolific writers and greatest voices of the modern rock era. His wife Vicky Cornell worked extensively with Chris' bandmates and friends to compile a collection of material from the late artist's expansive career, showcasing his contribution to music history with selections culled from the deep catalogs of his three influential bands – Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave – as well as songs from his solo career. She turned to producer Brendan O'Brien, who was a trusted partner to Cornell over the years and Jeff Ament who created the packaging for Chris Cornell.
The breadth of all 17 selections on Chris Cornell display the full span of his artistic achievements, from the full-on kick of Soundgarden's seminal "Black Hole Sun" to the mournful yearning of Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike" to the sensitive depth of Audioslave's "Like A Stone" to his solo theme to the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale, "You Know My Name." This collection also contains a pair of unreleased recordings: a touching cover of Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U" that was cut live at Sirius XM, and "When Bad Does Good," a favorite of Cornell's found in his personal archives.
The 180-gram 2LP edition comes in a gatefold jacket with limited edition custom die-cut slipcase that showcases Seattle via the tree-line graphics on front and various cities Chris lived in through his life on back. An accompanying 12-page booklet includes unreleased photos and liner notes from bandmates and colleagues Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, Tom Morello, Mike McCready, and Brendan O'Brien.

The Head on the Door

Originally a postpunk outfit with gothic leanings, The Cure evolved into one of the most visionary, creatively satisfying and influential groups to come of age in the 1980's. From dreamy pop to moody expressionism, their signature sound is adventurous, hypnotic, and rich with texture. Formed in 1976 by Robert Smith and schoolmates Michael Dempsey (bass) and Laurence Tolhurst (drums), The Cure's stunning 1979 debut on U.K.-based Fiction Records launched an extraordinary career and enduring worldwide popularity.
The Cure's 1985 album Head On The Door - their sixth full-length overall - marked another turning point for the band with its emerging pop sensibilities and talented new line-up that saw the return of bassist Simon Gallup, the re-induction of early-era guitarist Porl Thompson, and the debut of drummer Boris Williams. Co-produced with David M. Allen, the adventurous 10-track effort is still dark yet danceable and altogether infectious, home to the vibrant hit singles "In Between Days" and "Close To Me." Head On The Door was the first glimpse of the pop heights the Cure was perfectly capable of reaching.

Singles
Regular price $37.98 Save $-37.98Newly Expanded/Remastered Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition of the Acclaimed Soundtrack from Cameron Crowe's 1992 Film That Introduced a New Seattle Rock Sound to the World!
The 25th anniversary of Cameron Crowe's groundbreaking 1992 romantic comedy, Singles, is being commemorated with the release of a newly expanded and remastered edition of the film's integral Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The 2LP edition features the album's original 13 tracks newly mastered and freshly pressed across four sides of collectible 12″ vinyl plus a bonus CD of rarities and unreleased tracks included as a special insert. The newly expanded edition of the film's soundtrack was produced by Danny Bramson and Crowe and mastered by Mike Piacentini at Battery Studios, New York and includes liner notes – and a track-by-track description of the album's music written especially for this collection by Crowe
The newly released bonus CD (included with the 2LP-set) features previously unreleased recordings by Chris Cornell, Mike McCready, Mudhoney, and Paul Westerberg in addition to rarities such as Cornell's 1992 EP Poncier (debuting an early rendition of "Spoonman") and tracks from the film not included on the best-selling soundtrack album first released on June 30, 1992. It also includes "Touch Me I'm Dick," the signature track from Singles performed by Citizen Dick (a fictional band created for the film featuring frontman Matt Dillon backed by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament).
25 years ago, the film Singles and its soundtrack worked together to bring the underground Seattle music scene to the forefront of mainstream consciousness. The album was among the first top-selling movie soundtracks of the 1990s to showcase new material from emerging contemporary acts including Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden - while Paul Westerberg, in his first solo recordings outside The Replacements – contributed two songs and provided the score for the film. Smashing Pumpkins were also featured on the soundtrack with the song "Drown."
"The album itself was always designed to be sort of an anti-soundtrack, more like a souvenir and a simple mix-tape of some of Seattle's finest," said Cameron Crowe. "It really is and was a tribute to those hard-working bands that welcomed me to their city with open arms, and the music so many still love so much. Anyway, here we are now revisiting ‘Singles,' the film, as well as the soundtrack you hold in your hands, expanded with a special tip of the hat to the fans of the original release. Included are unreleased and raw elements that helped shape the experience of making the movie back in 1991. Hope you enjoy the trip back as much as I did – Viva Seattle!"
The expanded edition of Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is cause to celebrate anew the radical rock sounds that radiated out of the American Northwest a quarter century ago and changed pop music forever!

Before These Crowded Streets
Regular price $45.98 Save $-45.98Before These Crowded Streets is the third studio album by Grammy award-winning rock band, Dave Matthews Band. Originally released in spring of 1998, the album received both critical and commercial success. Dethroning the Titanic soundtrack, which sat atop the Billboard 200 for 16 consecutive weeks, Before These Crowded Streets was certified triple-platinum and began the band’s impressive streak of six No. 1 albums in a row. The LA Times said: On this album, the band places an even higher premium on musical proficiency. Songs such as “Rapunzel” and “The Stone” are built around vertiginous polyrhythms and serpentine riffs that dart around Matthew’s clenched vocals, yet always manage to lock into an enjoyable groove.

Kid A
Regular price $42.98 Save $-42.98Known for their explorative and restless sound, taking influence from old style rock like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Pink Floyd as well as from electronica and hip hop, each of Radiohead's albums marks a cornerstone in their musical evolution. Debut Pablo Honey (1993) was their answer to grunge while follow-up albums The Bends (1995) and OK Computer (1997) offered atmospheric, almost avant-garde tones.
With the near impossible task of following up their critically acclaimed masterpiece OK Computer, Radiohead took another bold leap at the turn of the millennium with 2000's Kid A, an experimental album built largely around the union of electronica and mood. Musically, Kid A is as accomplished as anything Radiohead has ever produced and it's overflowing with eye-opening musical mosaics which are absolutely stunning in their insight and beauty.
Kid A initially proved to be controversial as critics labeled the mixture of electronic beats, jazz horns and strings as "difficult" but tracks like the soaring "Optimistic" kept fans loyal and saw Radiohead crowned as masters of composition. A left-field hit, Kid A was eventually nominated for a Grammy for Album of the Year and won for Best Alternative Album.

"The early Nineties were filled with best-selling soundtracks, everything from Dazed and Confused to Pulp Fiction, each of them catering to a specific slice of the listening public. For some fans, the period's preeminent soundtrack belonged to 1994's The Crow; like the movie that inspired it, the collection drips with a moody, eyeliner-smeared darkness that's so of its time, it makes listening to it today comparable to leafing through old graduation photos." - Revolver

A Matter of Time [LP Indie Exclusive Autumn Edition: Rouge]
Regular price $36.98 Save $-36.98Time ebbs and flows. Something we cannot control, although we wish we could... Laufey’s third album...A Matter Of Time...is finally here. A Matter of Time is a beautiful masterpiece of introspection about the anguish that comes with life and love. Laufey has captivated a generation with virtuosic songs of love and self-discovery by manifesting her vision of jazz and classical-infused pop music. But after becoming the youngest ever recipient of the GRAMMY for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album (for Bewitched), the Icelandic-Chinese composer, singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist feels freer than ever to, as she puts it, “let my heart wander.” For her third album, A Matter of Time, Laufey teams with fellow producers Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner to break the set of expectations she herself set, serving up a transcendent sound and honest writing that cuts to the heart. It’s the culmination of an incredible journey that began with her playing cello with the Iceland Symphony as a teen before writing her first charting single while studying at Berklee College of Music. Laufey’s many achievements have since grown to include 4.25 billion global streams, a social media audience of 23 million, the biggest jazz LP debut in Spotify history, an album in Billboard’s Top 20, a pile of Platinum plaques, a Forbes 30 Under 30 designation, and, in 2025, being named one of TIME’s Women of the Year. She’s also: sold out the Hollywood Bowl, Radio City Music Hall, and London’s Royal Albert Hall; performed backed by the LA Phil, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the China Philharmonic Orchestra; shared the stage with the likes of Jon Batiste and Raye; and collaborated on record with artists ranging from Beabadoobee to Norah Jones. This album will transcend Laufey into new heights, and the physical rollout plays a special role in the overall creative strategy. There are several vinyl variants launching on May 15, 3 CDs, and 1 cassette. All uniquely representing moments in time. Bury Me at Makeout Creek
Regular price $24.98 Save $-24.98Mitski warmly recalls a quote from sculptor El Anatsui, "Art grows out of each particular situation, and I believe that artists are better off working with whatever their environment throws up." With this nerve exposed lyrically, and having dived into her new beginning, Mitski chooses her 2014 breakthrough album Bury Me at Makeout Creek to explore uncharted sonic territory, trading in large string arrangements for guitar and bass. While studying composition at SUNY Purchase's music conservatory, she previously recorded music with a full orchestra. However as college graduation inched closer, Mitski moved away from the concert hall and into the campus' active DIY scene. Upon relocating to New York following graduation, she entered stages at Death By Audio, Silent Barn, and Bed Stuy basements, entrenching her songs of love, fear, lust, and brilliant clarity into entirely sympathetic ears.
Since releasing Bury Me at Makeout Creek, Mitski has received international acclaim for her distinct, arresting sound and profoundly reflective lyrics. Pitchfork applauded the release as "inventive and resourceful," while Rolling Stone celebrated her "deep-cutting lyrics." NME said of Bury Me, "it's a record that doesn't tug at your heart-strings as much as it mercilessly pounds at them, taking to your emotions like a lead pipe to a piñata." She has also received widespread attention for her "cathartic" live shows as dubbed by The New York Times' Jon Caramanica. "I was so young when I behaved 25," Mitski sings on "First Love / Late Spring," "yet now I find I've grown into a tall child." This veritable thesis speaks to sentiments of the poetry and beauty of struggling up the hill to adulthood.
Mitski follows El Anatsui's humbling advice, cathartically revealing snapshots from her adventures in youth, and the empowerment found in sharing these stories with others.

Eminem's four studio albums shattered so many sales records that you might think just about every man, woman and gerbil on the planet already owns a bulk of the songs that make up this greatest hits collection. But Curtain Call presents the perfect opportunity to have another look at the life of Marshall Mathers. Starting out in the vein of the Beastie Boys and Slick Rick, he grafted filthy verses over bubbly nursery rhyme melodies and primitive Casio beats to come up with comical singles like 'My Name Is' and 'Real Slim Shady.' Then angst and reflection set in, resulting in rare moments of vulnerability ('Lose Yourself') and a richer musical experience ('Stan'). The three new tracks reflect the entire spectrum, with 'When I'm Gone,' a bittersweet goodbye letter, signaling the raw emotion and youthful enthusiasm of his early days have substantially faded, while 'Fack' counters that the Detroit rapper still has the dirtiest mouth in the business.

Drawing inspiration from the turbulence and growth of navigating one’s 20s, the album explores themes of self-discovery and connection, all wrapped in a narrative that serves as a love letter to those who matter most to Djo.
