SHOW, the double live album by The Cure, turns 30 this September and to celebrate the anniversary, the 2-LP set is to be made available on heavyweight black vinyl for the first time since 1993. SHOW has been remastered by Robert Smith and Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, London, with the vinyl cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road.

Tori Amos became the voice of a generation of young girls when she delivered her first solo record in 1992. Each of the tracks on Little Earthquakes painted an evocative picture, and the album delivered 5 singles: "Crucify," "Silent All These Years," "Winter," "China," "Me and A Gun." The album has already received the deluxe treatment in 2006, and this 2-LP is the first time the tracks have been remastered for this format. Notes are the same as those featured in the 2015 reissue, but the remastering was done lovingly by Jon Astley at Abbey Road Studios. In 2022, to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the record, Z2 announced a graphic novel of the album, and Tori toured the US and Europe.

The debut album from accomplished guitarist and songwriter Jason Isbell, formerly of Drive By Truckers (DBT), is reissued with 4 unreleased tracks from the original recording sessions. The addition of those 4 extra songs finds Sirens Of The Ditch clocking in at 15 total tracks. - Sirens Of The Ditch's mystical quality can be partially attributed to the FAME recording studio (Aretha Franklin, Duane Allman, Otis Redding) in Isbell's hometown of Muscle Shoals, AL where the album was recorded. Co-produced by Isbell and Patterson Hood (DBT), Sirens Of The Ditch features Isbell singing lead vocals and playing guitar throughout, joined by Shonna Tucker (Formerly of DBT) on Bass and Brad Morgan (DBT) on drums. Several musicians pop in for cameos including Spooner Oldham and David Hood (Patterson's father) on "Down In A Hole", John Neff (Formerly of DBT) on "Dress Blues" and Patterson himself guests on "Shotgun Wedding".

4AD will repress two more Cocteau Twins’ albums on vinyl this coming March, following on from the recent reissues of Blue Bell Knoll, Heaven or Las Vegas, Tiny Dynamine / Echoes In A Shallow Bay and The Pink Opaque. Using new masters created from high definition files transferred from the original analogue tapes, both vinyl pressings will also come with download codes. Digital HD audio versions of both albums will also be made available through specialist retailers at the same time. The band returned to being a trio in 1984 with guitarist Simon Raymonde joining their ranks in time for third album, Treasure. Produced by Robin Guthrie and featuring tracks “Lorelei,” “Ivo” and “Persephone,” Treasure is often celebrated as one of the band’s finest works. As Pitchfork put it when including the album in their Top 100 Albums of the 1980s, “Treasure was titled simply enough. An adjective for the endlessly inventive melodic lines you’d find buried in these songs, and a verb for what you’d do with them for years to come.”

Traffic Entertainment Group and B-Boy Records are proud to present one of the most influential and original albums in music history: Criminal Minded by Boogie Down Productions.  A true classic, Criminal Minded was included in Vibe Magazine's 100 Essential Albums of the 20th century. KRS-ONE's combination of street slang and Webster's dictionary knowledge backed by Scott LaRock's hard hitting, minimal beats helped set this album apart when it was originally released in 1986. With this now-classic debut album, BDP's hardcore styling's helped to redefine the New York rap music scene. Criminal Minded elevated the standards and proved that rap could be a dynamic and consciousness-raising medium. Since it's release, KRS-ONE has gone on to become one of the most prolific and critically-acclaimed artists in Hip Hop history. 

While revealing the band's roots in American folk music, the White Stripes' final album Icky Thump (2007) is an explosive, revolutionary assault that brings together garage rock, every blues style of the past 100 years, nouveau, flamenco, Jack White's fastest guitar solo ever recorded, hard country, speed metal, a slide-guitar epic, surf music, spoken word and even bagpipes. Truly a modern rock and roll masterpiece, the eclectic feel of 2005's Get Behind Me Satan remains, but is less obvious; interestingly, out of all the band's previous work, Icky Thump's brash and confessional songs most closely resemble the group's underground effort De Stijl.

The acoustic blues and carefully crafted wordplay of "300 MPH Torrential Outpour Blues" harken back to "Sister, Do You Know My Name." Meanwhile, "Rag & Bone" is a cute, ragamuffin cousin of "Let's Build a Home" and casts Jack and Meg as enterprising garbage-pickers; the sly grin in Jack's voice is palpable. And, while Get Behind Me Satan was heavy on pianos, Icky Thump is just plain heavy, dominated by primal, stomping rock that feels like it's been caged for a very long time. Jack's guitars are back in a big way here as well.

Once again, the White Stripes defied expectations, and their return to rock wasn't necessarily a return to the kind of rock they mastered on Elephant.

The story of Tonic revolves around the longstanding, close brotherhood shared among members Emerson Hart, Jeff Russo, Dan Rothchild and Kevin Shepard. Following 2018's A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, The 1975's much-anticipated fourth studio effort, Notes on a Conditional Form is the second of two albums from the British band's third release cycle, Music for Cars. Over the past six months, the band has dropped a selection of sonically-diverse singles from Notes on a Conditional Form. Released in July of 2019, "The 1975" features a spoken-word recording from Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg, underscored by instrumentals. On the heels of "The 1975" came the punchy, punk-infused "People," while "Frail State Of Mind," which frontman Matty Healy described as a song about anxiety, followed in October. The two most recent singles off the album included the shoegazey "Me & You Together Song," and the twangy, "The Birthday Party."

"Every time I do a 1975 record, I kind of just go through my catalogue of music, the mental rolodex," says Healy. "And I think that Notes is an interesting record, because it has our most aggressive moments and our most tranquil moments, and they're quite harshly lined up against each other. I don't have a playlist of one type of music, so I don't consume music like that, and when I'm inspired it'll never happen twice in one genre."

On Notes On A Conditional Form, the band's family has grown to encompass new collaborators too, including actor Timothy Healy, Matty's father. "Don't Worry" was written by Healy senior when Matty was 11 and was dusted down and recorded by the band for NOACF. Elsewhere, FKA twigs and Phoebe Bridgers lend their vocals as backing textures and a duet from the latter. "It became such a personal record that there were no rules anymore," adds Healy. "Anybody who had breached the intimacy of the studio was inherently part of the record already. With Phoebe, I just felt like I hadn't loved a female vocal like hers in like a decade – I was obsessed with her record."
