After gaining hordes of enthusiastic fans worldwide with their 2005 debut All We Know Is Falling, the Hayley Williams-fronted Paramore experienced even greater success with the release of its follow-up Riot! in 2007. Produced and mixed by David Bendeth (Hawthorne Heights, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), the band's sophomore effort debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 thanks to the runaway hit pop-punk singles "Misery Business," "Crushcrushcrush" and "That's What You Get" and led to a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening "My Own Summer (Shove It)," serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme: sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to "Headup," while "MX" finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles: his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Thriller is the sixth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released by Epic Records on November 30, 1982, as the follow-up to Jackson's critically and commercially successful 1979 album Off The Wall. Thriller explores similar genres to those of Off The Wall, including pop, post-disco, rock and funk. Recording sessions took place on April to November 1982 at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles with a production budget of $750, 000, assisted by producer Quincy Jones. Seven singles were released from the album, all of which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. In just over a year, Thriller became-and currently remains-the best-selling album of all time, with estimated sales of 65 million copies worldwide. It has become the first album ever to be certified 32 times multi-platinum for U.S. sales, marking more than 32 million sales shipped. The album won a record-breaking eight Grammy Awards in 1984, including for Album of the Year.

To say that Nirvana's third and ultimately final studio album In Utero was 1993's most polarizing record would be the understatement of a decade. The unadorned sonic rawness of Steve Albini's recording laid bare every primal nuance of the most confrontational yet vulnerable material Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl would ever record. And with its 1991 predecessor Nevermind having sold some 30 million copies, single-handedly returning honest rock 'n' roll to the top of the pop charts, In Utero was essentially the first record Nirvana would make with any expectations from the public.

So from the opening quasi-shamble melodics of "Serve The Servants" through the bittersweet closing strains of "All Apologies," In Utero was the sound of the most incredible yet conflicted rock ‘n' roll band of the era at the peak of its powers coming to terms with a generational spokes-band mantle they'd never seen coming - and ultimately surmounting these struggles to make the record they needed to make. Breakout 5x Platinum 1999 Effort Released on 180g Vinyl as Part of Universal's Blink 182 Catalog Reissue Campaign!

Since their humble beginnings nearly 25 years ago, when they started playing in a San Diego garage, Blink-182 has gone on to become one of the defining rock bands of their generation, selling over 50 million albums worldwide and rocking audiences from Adelaide to Zurich. The trio of bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge and drummer Travis Barker, emerged from the SoCal pop-punk scene of the early-90s and quickly gained a reputation for their raucous live shows, incredibly catchy songs and irreverent, tongue-in-cheek humor. Blink-182's latest studio release, California, with new member Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio who replaced DeLonge, debuted at #1 in July 2016, giving the band their second career #1 album and first in 15 years.

Blink-182's third studio album, and first with new drummer Travis Barker, Enema of the State, marked their breakthrough to the mainstream and went on to sell 15 million copies worldwide, launching them to global fame. Pop's most promising and exciting new artist Billie Eilish releases her highly-anticipated and acclaimed debut EP Don't Smile At Me. The stellar 8-track collection was produced by the 15-year-old's 19-year-old brother Finneas O'Connell. In keeping with the quality of their magical, laconic music, the success of Mazzy Star's second album, So Tonight That I Might See seemingly came out of nowhere. Eventually going platinum, the record's unexpected climb to commercial prominence began on the back of the surprise success of its second single, the dreamily atmospheric "Fade Into You," which rose into the Billboard Top 50 seven months after its parent album first hit the racks in October 1993. Gloriously out of step with the zeitgeist, the introspective So Tonight That I Might See bore scant relation to the grungy guitar records dominating the alt-rock scene. Indeed, "Fade Into You" ironically began its steady ascent up the Billboard chart while the world mourned the death of Kurt Cobain.

The product of ad hoc studio sessions, So Tonight That I Might See made no attempt to hide its rough 'n' ready nature, with "She's My Baby" and the grinding, "Venus In Furs"-esque titular song sounding almost willfully loose. More often than not, however, the album nonchalantly sauntered towards genius, not least on the droning, acid-tinged "Mary Of Silence," the duo's skeletal, cello-enhanced cover of Arthur Lee's "Five String Serenade" and the strung-out blues-rock of the aptly-titled "Wasted."

The record initially sold modestly, despite attracting tuned-in critics such as Los Angeles Times' Steve Hochman, who enthusiastically proclaimed that it "may well be the best psychedelic blues album since Cream." However, just when observers were preparing to file it away as a slow-burning niche record, So Tonight That I Might See started its stealthy ascent up the Billboard chart, peaking at No. 36 and moving a million copies. Now available as a single LP on standard weight vinyl in celebration of Capitol Records' 75th anniversary.

Vinyl LP Reissue of Long Out of Print 1974 Dolly Parton Masterwork Jolene!

The Bob Ferguson-produced Jolene, recorded in 1972 and '73 in Nashville with the musical mecca's finest sessions musicians, is filled not only with richly tuneful songs, but a pair of numbers - "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You" - that topped the Country charts and remain Dolly Parton signatures to this very day. The oft covered title track tells the tale of a housewife confronting her husband's seductress while "I Will Always Love You" covers the professional breakup of Parton and her longtime duet partner Potter Wagoner (who contributed the aching "Lonely Comin' Down" here). In 1992 Whitney Houston made the latter an international pop smash. Jolene had more than a little to do with elevating Dolly Parton to the next level of solo stardom, now the most-decorated female country music performer of all time.

Accessible and ambitious, Tears for Fears' phenomenal 10-million-selling second album, Songs From The Big Chair, marked a transition in the band's sound and catapulted them into international prominence. As a group, Tears for Fears led the "Second British Invasion" of pop music in the mid-'80s in both the U.S. and Europe with songs from the album dominating the radio airwaves.
