A 1991 landscape-changing release from the pioneering hip-hop group, The Low End Theory embraced a minimalist approach and set the tables for the alternate rap movement that followed. The record spawned three hit singles and remains an oft-referenced classic.

Peach Pit was brought to life in 2016 with the release of their now coveted debut EP, Sweet F.A. The group melds teenage angst with bummer summer vibes that have them sounding somewhere between Mac Demarco and Homeshake. With their laid back sound and lush lead vocals, their songs tell stories of backstabbing best friends and dying end of summer romances. In 2017 the group issued their debut LP, Being So Normal on the legendary indie record label Kingfisher Bluez, featuring the irresistible singles "Drop The Guillotine" and "Tommy's Party."

They were one of the biggest bands of the nineties and this album includes their global hits "Linger" and "Dreams". The album has been remastered at Abbey Road (under the supervision of the band's Noel Hogan). Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? was written entirely by the band's lead singer Dolores O'Riordan and guitarist Noel Hogan. It reached #1 on both the UK and Irish albums charts. It reached #18 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart.

Blue Smoke vinyl. American Football's first album showcases cleanly picked guitars, intricate drumming, and the vocals of Mike Kinsella (Owen, Cap'n Jazz). The band, made up of Kinsella, Steve Holmes and Steve Lamos rooted itself in Champaign and recorded this album at Private Studios with Brendan Gamble (Braid). As a band, American Football dissolved into the history books almost as soon as this album was released, but it's success continued to grow in their absence and the band eventually reunited in 2014 for the record's 15th anniversary.

Florence And The Machine Lungs on Vinyl LP

Florence Welch, an art-school dropout from South London, first gained fame at home with two bombastic singles; "Kiss With A Fist" and "Dog Days Are Over." Not two years after she was discovered while singing Etta James in a club bathroom, she was awarded the 2009 Brit Awards Critics' Choice. She found herself wowing attendee's with her incredible live performance and her now legendary set of pipes.

Her debut album is co-produced by Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, Maximo Park), James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Last Shadow Puppets) and Steve Mackay (PULP, M.I.A), and has already amassed a hefty amount of critical acclaim in the UK. Lungs is made of harps, choirs, drums, quartets, strange electronic wailing, while incorporating countless other instruments and emotions along the way.

The songs are full of Gothic imagery and fairytale flights of fantasy. Her seven-piece band includes long-term collaborators; Rob Ackroyd (guitar), Chris Hayden (drums), Isabella Summers (keyboards) and Tom Monger (harp). Lungs was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize as one of the 12 best albums to be released in the UK this year.

Stone Temple Pilots (guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo, drummer Eric Kretz, and vocalist Scott Weiland) debuted with the raucous Core in the fall of 1992 and by the following summer were one of the biggest rock bands in the game. Vinyl LP pressing, includes digital download. Cigarettes After Sex main man Greg Gonzalez's ability to set a scene and sustain a mood reels you in deeply. On album opener K., a tale of blossoming love etched in tiny details luxuriates over chiming guitars; on the hymn to romantic compulsion of Each Time You Fall in Love, the suspended animation of Angelo Badalamenti's heart-stopping Twin Peaks music is echoed. Sunsetz and the gently lilting Sweet, meanwhile, showcase Gonzalez's ability to weave impressionistic snapshots of romance into melodies that haunt like memories of past loves, all coalescing around his melting vocals. Elsewhere, Gonzalez mounts movies in miniature with the photographic references of Flash and Fitzcarraldo echoes of Opera House, a song so lovingly languid it could, conceivably, soundtrack a man hauling ships over mountains for love. And, just as every good film-maker knows the need for a killer finale, so Gonzalez closes the album with the retro-romantic swing and teasingly filthy put-downs of Young & Dumb, which brings the album to a close with good, timeless advice: Drive your car to the beach with the song on repeat... To mirror their woozy romanticism in music, Gonzalez rejected conventional studio routes for his band, which numbers Randy Miller on bass, Jacob Tomsky on drums and Phillip Tubbs on keyboards. Taking influence from The Cowboy Junkies' The Trinity Session (recorded in a church, single microphone), Cigarettes recorded most of the album in three days at the Sweatshop rehearsal space, Bushwick. The exception is Each Time You Fall in Love, which was recorded in the Beekman's stairway after hours, the ghosts of screen lovers channeled in every warm note. Like the best movie, Cigarettes After Sex holds you in a hell of a spell.

Limited 180 gram black vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Paranoid is the second studio album by English metal band Black Sabbath. Released in September 1970, it was the band's only LP to top the UK Albums Chart until the release of 13 in 2013. Paranoid contains several of the band's signature songs, including "Iron Man", "War Pigs" and the title track, which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching #4 in the UK charts. It is often regarded as one of the most quintessential and influential albums in heavy metal history. Black Sabbath was formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist and main songwriter Tony Iommi, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. Black Sabbath is often cited as pioneers of heavy metal music. The band helped define the genre with a clutch of groundbreaking albums in the '70s. They have sold over 70 million records worldwide. Black Sabbath were inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohio, Trent Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Tack head). Known as both The Misfits' self titled album and as 'Collection 1', this album is a perfect introduction for new fans to the legendary and influential punk band. Featuring previously unreleased versions of some of their most well known material like 'She', 'Hollywood Babylon', 'Horror Business', 'Teenagers From Mars', 'I Turned Into a Martian', 'Astro Zombies', 'Mommy Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight?', 'Die, Die My Darling', 'Earth A.D.', 'Devilock', and 'Green Hell'; all of which display the simplistic musical structure and Glen Danzig's unholy howl. Even though the production quality is poor to say the least, that doesn't take away from the album as a whole, and in the end this is a must have.
