Let it Bleed (50th Anniversary Edition)
Regular price $30.00 Save $-30.00Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. The Rolling Stones' groundbreaking multi-platinum selling album Let It Bleed was released in late 1969, charting at #1 in the UK and #3 in the US. The Rolling Stones, at this point already a critically and commercially dominant force, composed and recorded their eighth long player amidst both geopolitical and personal turmoil. The second of four Rolling Stones albums made with producer Jimmy Miller (Traffic, Blind Faith), Let It Bleed perfectly captures the ominous spirit of the times with "Gimme Shelter," the opening track.
Into the Spider-Verse
Regular price $32.00 Save $-32.00Set in the states during the Great Depression, Academy Award-winning animated 2018 film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse - which Rolling Stone called the "best comic-book movie to date" - centers around the teenage protagonist Miles Morales, a Brooklyn teenager who shares the same spidey powers as the iconic Marvel superhero. The series promises to not only expand the Spider Man universe, but also offer a darker take on the comic book hero. Unlike the Marvel film franchise, this animated feature focuses on the Spider-Man multi-verse and features a who's who of celebrity voices including Chris Pine, Nicholas Cage, Liev Schreiber, Zoë Kravitz and Hailee Steinfeld. The equally as impressive star-studded soundtrack features contributions from a bevy of heavy hitters like Nicki Minaj, Little Wayne, Juice WRLD, Post Malone, Ty Dolla $Ign and Vince Staples.
Ramones
Regular price $29.00 Save $-29.00The Ramones sounded like nothing else when their self-titled debut came roaring onto the scene in 1976. Even so, original drummer Tommy Ramone did do a pretty good job describing the band's primal sound when he penned the quartet's press bio that same year. "The Ramones all originate from Forest Hills and kids who grew up there either became musicians, degenerates or dentists. The Ramones are a little of each," he observed. "Their sound is not unlike a fast drill on a rear molar."
Named the "Greatest Punk Album Of All Time" by Rolling Stone, and certainly one of the most important and influential albums of all time, the 29-minute masterpiece helped launch the punk rock scenes in both America and Britain, and also went on to inspire countless other artists for generations to come. Bringing a bubblegum sensibility to the fast-and-hard mentality, their primal sound is considered a blueprint for all things resembling snotty, catchy, ear-bleeding punk rock.
And with cornerstone anthems like "Blitzkrieg Bop," "Beat on the Brat," "Judy Is A Punk" and "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" as its first four songs alone, Ramones stature and supremacy is hard to argue.

Eclectic Multi-Grammy-Winning Effort Remastered on 180g Vinyl and Pressed at RTI for Audiophile Sound: Graceland Forever Changed the Relationship Between Pop and World Music
With Graceland, Paul Simon hit on the idea of combining his always perceptive songwriting with the little-heard mbaqanga music of South Africa, creating a fascinating hybrid that re-enchanted his old audience and earned him a new one. It is true that the South African angle (including its controversial aspect during the apartheid days) was a powerful marketing tool and that the catchy music succeeded in presenting listeners with that magical combination: something they'd never heard before that nevertheless sounded familiar.
As eclectic as any record Simon had made, it also delved into zydeco and conjunto-flavored rock & roll while marking a surprising new lyrical approach (presaged on some songs on Hearts and Bones); for the most part, Simon abandoned a linear, narrative approach to his words, instead drawing highly poetic ("Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes"), abstract ("The Boy in the Bubble"), and satiric ("I Know What I Know") portraits of modern life, often charged by striking images and turns of phrase torn from the headlines or overheard in contemporary speech.
An enormously successful record, Graceland became the standard against which subsequent musical experiments by major artists were measured and continues to provide rewards to its listeners and remains a pivotal listening experience for writers, artists and fans.
The universal appeal of the music of Graceland proved more powerful and enduring than the political hotbed attending its creation. In 1986, the album sold 14 million copies worldwide, and received universal praise from critics around the globe. Paul Simon and the members of Ladysmith Black Mambazo performed on Saturday Night Live and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone.
By January of 1987, "You Can Call Me Al" was everywhere and Graceland won 'Album of the Year' at the Grammy Awards in 1987. Then, in an unprecedented carryover, the album garnered the Grammy for 'Song of the Year' with its title track in 1988. The album generated three hit singles and kept Simon and the Graceland tour on the road for five years.
This audiophile edition of Graceland has been remastered on 180g 12" vinyl and includes an art-quality collectible poster and a download card with the full album plus three bonus tracks.
"In many ways, Graceland was the most extraordinary experience in my entire career," notes Simon. "The insight into rhythm was the great gift that I received from making the trip to South Africa, and collaborating with African musicians."
"This lacquer cut processed and pressed at RTI on 180 gram vinyl sounds dramatically superior to the original in every way. The overall tonal balance is far superior. The low bass is as powerful as on the original but much better controlled. If the opening drum thwacks on 'Boy In the Bubble,' don't sound deep, ultra-tight and tuneful, blame your system, not the record. You are guaranteed to hear heretofore hidden musical details and parts that on the original slipped through the musical cracks. This reissue has an overall tonal richness and clarity as well as dynamic impact only hinted at on the original."

Remain in Light
Regular price $29.00 Save $-29.00Formed in the mid-70s by art school chums David Byrne, Chris Franz, and Tina Weymouth and ex-Modern Lover Jerry Harrison, Talking Heads rose out of the CBGB punk crucible and proved themselves one of the most artistically adventurous and influential bands of all time. Their visionary, polyrhythmic sound fused elements including rock, funk, and punk with diverse world beats, avant-garde minimalism, and pure pop genius.
From their 1977 debut through their Brian Eno and self-produced classics and on to their swan song (1988's Steve Lillywhite-produced Naked), Talking Heads constantly broke creative boundaries while also scoring smart radio hits including "Burning Down The House," "Wild Wild Life," and, from 1980's Remain In Light, the brilliant "Once In A Lifetime." Considered by many fans and critics alike to be the band's best album, Remain In Light was the third release in the Heads/Eno trilogy and fourth overall. More melodic and funkier sounding than that of its predecessors, the recording finds the band further exploring the African rhythms hinted at on 1979's Fear of Music with the help of a growing personnel that now included Adrian Belew (guitar), Bernie Worrell (keyboards), Steven Scales (percussion) and backing vocalists.
"On this New Wave watershed, the avant-punk avatars became polyrhythmic pop magicians. David Byrne and Co. combined the thrust of P-Funk, the kinky grooves of Afropop and the studied adventurousness of producer Brian Eno – and they still had a pop hit with 'Once in a Lifetime'." - Rolling Stone/#129 of the '500 Greatest Albums of All Time'

Originally a postpunk outfit with gothic leanings, The Cure evolved into one of the most visionary, creatively satisfying and influential groups to come of age in the 1980's. From dreamy pop to moody expressionism, their signature sound is adventurous, hypnotic, and rich with texture. Formed in 1976 by Robert Smith and schoolmates Michael Dempsey (bass) and Laurence Tolhurst (drums), The Cure's stunning 1979 debut on U.K.-based Fiction Records launched an extraordinary career and enduring worldwide popularity.
The Cure's 1985 album Head On The Door - their sixth full-length overall - marked another turning point for the band with its emerging pop sensibilities and talented new line-up that saw the return of bassist Simon Gallup, the re-induction of early-era guitarist Porl Thompson, and the debut of drummer Boris Williams. Co-produced with David M. Allen, the adventurous 10-track effort is still dark yet danceable and altogether infectious, home to the vibrant hit singles "In Between Days" and "Close To Me." Head On The Door was the first glimpse of the pop heights the Cure was perfectly capable of reaching.

Shake Your Money Maker (2020 Remaster)
Regular price $32.00 Save $-32.001990's Shake Your Money Maker is the triple platinum debut album from The Black Crowes and the brothers Robinson named after Elmore James' classic blues number of the same name. Issued on Rick Rubin's Def American Recordings and produced by George Drakoulias, the blistering 10-song throwback is awash in vocal swagger and guitar hooks. One doesn't have to listen hard to pick up the breadcrumb trail of influences ranging from 60s and 70s groups like Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, the Allman Brothers, to Faces and the Doobie Brothers. Picking up where their predecessors left off, the Crowes were equally adept at blending rock, soul, country and gospel into something that felt new and electric.
With swagger to spare, the very first track opens the album as a declaration and a promise to rock "Twice As Hard." From the screeching sounds of a car crash on "Thick N' Thin" to Rich Robinson's wondrous dexterity on "Struttin Blues," the whole album has that lighting in a bottle feeling and the raw energy of a live band who can't be contained. But the real success of the album relied upon a pair of No.1 mainstream rock singles, "She Talks to Angels" and "Hard To Handle," which reached the top spot on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart and No.26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Shake Your Money Maker was evidence of a band that was mature beyond their years and primed to take their place in rock history rather than just study it. Original album remastered in 2020.

Sigma Oasis (Green/Black)
Regular price $30.00 Save $-30.00"Sigma Oasis came to be during the first week of November 2019, but it wasn't planned that way at all. We were headed up to The Barn to rehearse for our fall tour and ended up discussing this batch of relatively recent songs that we were particularly proud of and always wished we had recorded, but hadn't had a chance to yet. Trey suggested calling up Vance Powell as he mixed and engineered Ghosts Of The Forest. Vance was very familiar with the space and the console so we set up the gear with no room dividers, no click tracks. Nothing. Just like a Phish show. Open space. We played for a couple days. We just played a bunch of songs - very quickly, a few takes, very organic, natural, live, honest. We had the best time. When we were done, our photographer Rene came up and asked us to come out on the porch and snap a photo. It took about two minutes. And that's the album cover - a snapshot of our band at that point in time.
"Vance had some stuff on his schedule so he asked as a favor if we would mind if he didn't mix until early March. Now four months might sound like a long time, but it gave all of us time to work on the tracks - Page overdubbed a lot of keyboards at home. Trey went to a studio in New York and did vocals and percussion. We had time to pick which songs we wanted to work on. We let a few of them go, which was difficult, but that's ok. When we recorded the album, we didn't plan to release it this way. But today, because of the environment we're all in, it just feels right. We don't know the next time that we're all going to be able to be together. This is an opportunity to have a moment where the Phish community can share something despite being physically separated.
"The last line of the chorus of "Sigma Oasis" sums up this point - There's no place to get. There's nothing to achieve. There's no place to be. We're here. Right here, right now is as good as it gets. "You're already there." It's a content state of mind. You're just completely in the moment. "You're already there." You already have everything you need. Sigma Oasis. It aligns with where we are in our career and as friends and musicians. There's a joy to the playing. We're not clamoring to make it. Make what? We're already there! Sigma Oasis." - Phish
