The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 [ Indie Exclusive Glow-In-The-Dark Splatter 2 LP]
Regular price $45.99 Save $-45.99Lord Huron - the project of Los Angeles-based songwriter, musician and visual artist Ben Schneider, releases their
new album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1, via Mercury Records, along with the new single, "Looking Back."
Known for creating "atmospheric music of exquisite craft" (Wall Street Journal), the band began teasing the album in early 2025 with the singles, "Who Laughs Last" and "Nothing I Need."
Lord Huron's fifth album was written and co-produced by Schneider. Alongside Schneider are band members Tom Renaud, Mark Barry and Miguel Briseno, and a host of collaborators, including actress Kristen Stewart and Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino. The album title references the mysterious machine featured on the cover art. Schneider asks: "What if you could choose your fate like choosing a song on a jukebox? What if your finger slipped and you got the B-side instead? What if you misunderstood the meaning of the dang song to begin with?"

Pisces Iscariot was the little mix tape that went platinum, writes Wild. This unlikely smash album that some came to mistake for the Pumpkins' third studio effort even yielded a hit single another wonderfully odd moment in the landslide that was the intense early success story of Smashing Pumpkins. Songs To Learn & Sing
Regular price $27.98 Save $-27.981985 Compilation Reissued On Vinyl LP!
Includes "The Killing Moon" & "Bring On The Dancing Horses"!
By the release of Songs To Learn & Sing, Echo & The Bunnymen were a force to be reckoned with, pioneering the post-punk, new wave scene having released four highly acclaimed albums: Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain.
Originally released in 1985, Songs To Learn & Sing is a comprehensive collection of Echo & The Bunnymen's first four albums, from their second single "Rescue", to "The Cutter" and the anthemic "The Killing Moon". Also included is "Bring On The Dancing Horses", a single launched at the time in conjunction with Songs To Learn & Sing.
One of the most acclaimed British rockers from the 1980s, this legendary band formed in Liverpool in 1978 and were forefathers of the neo-psychedelic movement. Their line up consisted of vocalist Ian McCulloch, guitarist Will Sergeant, bass player Les Pattinson and drummer Pete de Freitas, eventually replacing the original drum machine. The band's cult status eventually waned with mainstream success in 1983 after they scored a UK top 10 hit with "The Cutter" and attendant album Porcupine which hit #2 in the UK. 1984's album Ocean Rain is considered a landmark post-punk release, featuring the lead single "The Killing Moon".
The band split in 1988 but regrouped in 1997, releasing an album in 2014 that was their first UK Top 40 entry since 1999. The band's popularity never quite made the same impact in the US as it did in Europe so they are ripe for rediscovery for anyone interested in bands such as Suede, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Blur, Interpol and Oasis.

Absolution
Regular price $37.98 Save $-37.98Absolution is the third studio album by the English alternative rock band Muse. It was released on 15 September 2003 in Japan, on 22 September 2003 in the United Kingdom on Mushroom Records and A&E Records and on 23 March 2004 in the United States by East West Records and Taste Media. The album followed up on it's predecessor's diverse musical tendencies and elaborate sound, while also having a more focused and consistent theme and aesthetic throughout. Absolution has a noticeably darker and heavier tone musically, with a lyrical focus on the theological and apocalyptic concepts. The album reached number one in the UK Album Charts. It also yielded the band's first top 10 single hit, with "Time Is Running Out" peaking at number 8 in the UK singles chart. In 2009, it was voted by Kerrang! As the second-best album of the 21st century thus far. (Muse's previous album, Origin of Symmetry, and their subsequent release, Black Holes and Revelations, also appeared in the top fifty).

Songs Of A Lost World
Regular price $39.00 Save $-39.00Vinyl LP pressing. 2024 release. After 16 years, The Cure is back with their 14th studio album, SONGS OF A LOST WORLD. Songs from the record were previewed during their 90-date, 33-country 'Shows Of A Lost World' tour for more than 1.3 million people to overwhelming fan and critical acclaim. Speaking about, "Alone," the opening track on the album, Robert Smith says, "It's the track that unlocked the record; as soon as we had that piece of music recorded, I knew it was the opening song and I felt the whole album come into focus... that was the moment when I knew the song - and the album - were real." Robert Smith created the sleeve concept and Andy Vella, a longtime Cure collaborator, handled the album's art and design. The cover art features 'Bagatelle,' a 1975 sculpture by Janez Pirnat.
In Utero (20th Anniversary Edition) - CD
Regular price $15.95 Save $-15.95Compact Disc
To say that Nirvana's third and ultimately final studio album IN UTERO was 1993's most polarizing record would be the understatement of a decade. The unadorned sonic rawness of Steve Albini's recording laid bare every primal nuance of the most confrontational yet vulnerable material Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl would ever record. And with it's 1991 predecessor NEVERMIND having sold some 30 million copies, singlehandedly returning honest rock n roll to the top of the pop charts, IN UTERO was essentially the first record Nirvana would make with any expectations from the public. So from the opening quasi-shamble melodics of "Serve the Servants" through the bittersweet closing strains of "All Apologies," IN UTERO was the sound of the most incredible yet conflicted rock n roll band of the era at the peak of it's powers coming to terms with a generational spokes-band mantle they'd never seen coming and ultimately surmounting these struggles to make the record they needed to make. This 20th anniversary reissue features the original album re-mastered at Abbey Road studios in 2013.

Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party - Yellow [Explicit Content]
Regular price $35.98 Save $-35.98After 20+ years spent fulfilling their contract for Atlantic Records - a contract Williams signed as a mere teenager - Paramore announced in December of 2023 that they were finally an independent band. This surprise collection is self-released by Hayley Williams on her new venture Post Atlantic. These songs come as the third batch of work released from Williams as a solo artist. The COVID-era saw her release two extraordinary albums - 2020's Petals For Armor and 2021's Flowers for Vases. Both albums were gorgeous and stark meditations on loss and offered up a contrast to the high-energy and up-tempo muscle she displays in Paramore. "The record-epitomizing vulnerability and transformative growth-reveals a more mature and introspective side of Williams," said Pitchfork of Petals, and went on to say of Flowers "her voice is undoubtedly the standout feature... husky and gentle, dangerous yet warm," and explained that the minimal production "makes this a purposeful reset."

Strangeways, Here We Come
Regular price $27.98 Save $-27.98Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of this 1987 release from the legendary British quartet, their final studio album. With producer Stephen Street, The Smiths created a subtly shaded and skilled album, one boasting a fuller production than before. Morrissey and Marr labored hard over the songs, working to expand the band's sound within their boundaries. In doing so they created the classic tracks "I Started Something I Couldn't Finish," "Girlfriend in a Coma," "Stop Me if You Think You've Heard This One Before," and "I Won't Share You". This, the highest charting of all their albums, easily offers a summary of the band's considerable strengths.
