El Camino was produced by Danger Mouse and The Black Keys and was recorded in the band’s then-new hometown of Nashville during the spring of 2011.The Black Keys won three awards at the 55thannual GRAMMY Awards forEl Camino– Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Album—among other worldwide accolades. In the UK, the band was nominated for a BRIT Award (Best International Group) and an NME Award (Best International Band).The week of release, the band performed on Saturday Night Live, the Colbert Report, and the Late Show with David Letterman, and later that year, went on to perform their first Madison Square Garden show.

In the UK, the record gave the band their first top 10 hit, and in the US it debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200. The band was also the #1 most played artist at Alternative and AAA radio formats for 2012 in the US. Ushering in a new post-grunge metal genre with their first two Ross Robinson helmed alt-metal landmarks Korn (1994) and Life Is Peachy (1996), Korn switched gears and co-produced their massive third album, Follow The Leader with the team of Steve Thompson and Toby Wright. The 5x-platinum affair peaked at No. 1 on four charts including the Billboard 200 and gave Korn their first entries on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts with "Got The Life" and "Freak On A Leash." The Beatles' chart-topping 1970 album Let It Be receives a range of beautifully presented Special Edition packages in October 2021! The new Special Edition follows the universally acclaimed remixed and expanded anniversary editions of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (2017), The Beatles (aka The White Album) (2018), and Abbey Road (2019). All of the new Let It Be releases feature a new stereo mix of the album, as guided by the original "reproduced for disc" version by Phil Spector, sourced directly from the original session and rooftop performance eight-track tapes. The new stereo mix is presented here on 180g vinyl LP.

While recorded in 1969, Let It Be remains the Beatles' final salvo due to its release in 1970 and the internal tensions that mark the album. Filled with a litany of underrated gems, it also hosts the universally recognized gospel-laden title track, on a par with the best material the Beatles ever recorded. Controversial due to its involvement of Spector, Let It Be marks a return to a drier, back-to-basics live-in-the-studio sound. Seldom, if ever, were the Beatles so raw and direct, as the folksy harmonies on "Two of Us" and straight-ahead charge of "I've Got a Feeling" demonstrate. And the orchestral and choir arrangements on the Spector-treated "The Long and Winding Road" simply soar.

Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet on LP

Bon Jovi's eponymous debut album was released in 1984, and "Runaway" became a Top 40 hit. Following its success, Tony Bongiovi sued the band, claiming he developed their successful sound; the group settled out of court. The following year, 7800° Fahrenheit was released and went gold. Despite the band's respectable success, Bon Jovi wasn't becoming the superstars they had hoped, and they changed their approach for their next album, Slippery When Wet.

Hiring professional songwriter Desmond Child as a collaborator, the group wrote 30 songs and auditioned them for local New Jersey and New York teenagers, basing the album's running order on their opinions. After ditching the original cover of a busty woman in a wet T-shirt for the title traced in water on a garbage bag, Slippery When Wet was released in 1986.

Supported by several videos that showcased their photogenic namesake and frontman, the album eventually sold nine million copies in the U.S. alone, helping usher in the era of pop-metal. Two songs, "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' on a Prayer," reached No. 1, while "Wanted Dead or Alive" reached the Top Ten, and Bon Jovi was established as worldwide superstars once and for all.

Eclectic Multi-Grammy-Winning Effort Remastered on 180g Vinyl and Pressed at RTI for Audiophile Sound: Graceland Forever Changed the Relationship Between Pop and World Music

With Graceland, Paul Simon hit on the idea of combining his always perceptive songwriting with the little-heard mbaqanga music of South Africa, creating a fascinating hybrid that re-enchanted his old audience and earned him a new one. It is true that the South African angle (including its controversial aspect during the apartheid days) was a powerful marketing tool and that the catchy music succeeded in presenting listeners with that magical combination: something they'd never heard before that nevertheless sounded familiar.

As eclectic as any record Simon had made, it also delved into zydeco and conjunto-flavored rock & roll while marking a surprising new lyrical approach (presaged on some songs on Hearts and Bones); for the most part, Simon abandoned a linear, narrative approach to his words, instead drawing highly poetic ("Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes"), abstract ("The Boy in the Bubble"), and satiric ("I Know What I Know") portraits of modern life, often charged by striking images and turns of phrase torn from the headlines or overheard in contemporary speech.

An enormously successful record, Graceland became the standard against which subsequent musical experiments by major artists were measured and continues to provide rewards to its listeners and remains a pivotal listening experience for writers, artists and fans.

The universal appeal of the music of Graceland proved more powerful and enduring than the political hotbed attending its creation. In 1986, the album sold 14 million copies worldwide, and received universal praise from critics around the globe. Paul Simon and the members of Ladysmith Black Mambazo performed on Saturday Night Live and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone.

By January of 1987, "You Can Call Me Al" was everywhere and Graceland won 'Album of the Year' at the Grammy Awards in 1987. Then, in an unprecedented carryover, the album garnered the Grammy for 'Song of the Year' with its title track in 1988. The album generated three hit singles and kept Simon and the Graceland tour on the road for five years.

This audiophile edition of Graceland has been remastered on 180g 12" vinyl and includes an art-quality collectible poster and a download card with the full album plus three bonus tracks.

Fleetwood Mac was at the top of its game in August 1977 when the band returned to its adopted home in Southern California to play three shows at The Forum in Los Angeles. RUMOURS had only been out a few weeks when the band left in February to tour the world, returning six months later to play three shows at The Forum for nearly 50,000 fans.

RUMOURS LIVE captures the energy and excitement of the band’s opening night at The Forum on August 29, 1977.

The concert’s setlist draws almost exclusively from FLEETWOOD MAC and RUMOURS, the first two albums recorded by the band’s latest incarnation: Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Christine McVie, and the newest members, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham. The lone nod to Fleetwood Mac’s other nine studio albums is a performance of “Oh Well,” a rock-guitar masterpiece originally released in 1969 and written by the band’s founder, guitarist Peter Green.

The concert remained unreleased for decades until 2021, when “Gold Dust Woman” and “World Turning” from the show were included as a bonus tracks on LIVE: DELUXE EDITION, Rhino’s expanded version of Fleetwood Mac’s 1980 concert album. The other 16 songs on the collection have never been released before.

Engineer Ken Caillat, who helped record RUMOURS, also recorded the concert at The Forum using the Record Plant’s mobile recording truck. He captured the band’s impassioned performance at a moment of peak RUMOURS frenzy, including powerful versions of “Landslide,” “Never Going Back Again,” “Songbird,” and “The Chain.”

Since their inception in the metal heartland and rock stronghold of Cleveland, OH, Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails have been pioneers in their field. Jar of Flies is the second studio EP by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on January 25, 1994, through Columbia Records. The recorded legacy of musical icon and singer/songwriter Chris Cornell is celebrated with the new 17-track self-titled collection, Chris Cornell, the first release since his passing in 2017. Chris Cornell commemorates his life and legacy not only as a singer, but as a poet and one of the most prolific writers and greatest voices of the modern rock era. His wife Vicky Cornell worked extensively with Chris' bandmates and friends to compile a collection of material from the late artist's expansive career, showcasing his contribution to music history with selections culled from the deep catalogs of his three influential bands – Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave – as well as songs from his solo career. She turned to producer Brendan O'Brien, who was a trusted partner to Cornell over the years and Jeff Ament who created the packaging for Chris Cornell.

The breadth of all 17 selections on Chris Cornell display the full span of his artistic achievements, from the full-on kick of Soundgarden's seminal "Black Hole Sun" to the mournful yearning of Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike" to the sensitive depth of Audioslave's "Like A Stone" to his solo theme to the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale, "You Know My Name." This collection also contains a pair of unreleased recordings: a touching cover of Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U" that was cut live at Sirius XM, and "When Bad Does Good," a favorite of Cornell's found in his personal archives.

Originally a postpunk outfit with gothic leanings, The Cure evolved into one of the most visionary, creatively satisfying and influential groups to come of age in the 1980's. From dreamy pop to moody expressionism, their signature sound is adventurous, hypnotic, and rich with texture. Formed in 1976 by Robert Smith and schoolmates Michael Dempsey (bass) and Laurence Tolhurst (drums), The Cure's stunning 1979 debut on U.K.-based Fiction Records launched an extraordinary career and enduring worldwide popularity.

The Cure's 1985 album Head On The Door - their sixth full-length overall - marked another turning point for the band with its emerging pop sensibilities and talented new line-up that saw the return of bassist Simon Gallup, the re-induction of early-era guitarist Porl Thompson, and the debut of drummer Boris Williams. Co-produced with David M. Allen, the adventurous 10-track effort is still dark yet danceable and altogether infectious, home to the vibrant hit singles "In Between Days" and "Close To Me." Head On The Door was the first glimpse of the pop heights the Cure was perfectly capable of reaching.
