0th Anniversary Colored 180g Vinyl LP Reissue of 2013 Grammy Award-Winning Album of the Year with Alternate ArtworkMumford & Sons offer up a 10th anniversary colored 180g vinyl LP reissue of their celebrated second album Babel! The anniversary edition features a variation of the photography originally featured on Babel, shot on location in West London by long-standing collaborator, the photographer Marcus Haney.

Babel was originally released in Autumn 2012, topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic in September 2012 for the first time, as the band's profile soared right across the globe. It was first introduced in August of that year with lead single, "I Will Wait," as the band continued a sold-out headline tour of the US. The record has since sold millions of copies worldwide (going 4 x platinum in both the US and UK alone). Babel won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2013, with Mumford & Sons taking home the British Group award at the 2013 BRIT Awards. In addition, Babel won the Juno Award for International Album of the Year and was also included in Q Magazine's list of the 50 Greatest Albums of 2012.

Babel followed the word-of-mouth success of the band's debut album, Sigh No More, which debuted in October 2009 and slowly but surely sent Mumford & Sons stratospheric. Babel found the band stick close to the formula that had brought them such success, but the songs were bigger, bolder, and epic in scale. Black Vinyl. Better Oblivion Community Center is a brand new band comprising the formidable talents of Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst, two of the most lauded American songwriters of the past several years. Written and recorded in Los Angeles during the summer of 2018, their self-titled debut album will be released on Dead Oceans in early 2019. The pair first collaborated on Bridgers' 2017 single, "Would You Rather", taken from her acclaimed debut album Stranger In The Alps. They teamed up again for a recording of Oberst's "LAX" in the fall of 2018. Co-produced by Bridgers, Oberst and long time Oberst/Bright Eyes collaborator Andy LeMaster, Better Oblivion Community Center features the work of several talented friends: Yeah Yeah Yeahs' guitarist Nick Zinner appears on two tracks (first single "Dylan Thomas" and "Dominoes") while Carla Azur (Autolux, Jack White) plays drums on half of the album. Dawes' rhythm section Wylie Gelber and Griffin Goldsmith appear on the other half. Songwriter Christian Lee Hutson contributes guitar and Anna Butterss provides bass. Bridgers and Oberst are currently putting together a live band to tour in March and April.

The success of the album served as a comeback after the death of guitarist Ricky Wilson in 1985. Six of the album's songs were produced by Nile Rodgers in New York City, and the remaining four by Don Was in upstate New York. The band embarked on the Cosmic Tour to promote the album.

Songs from the record were previewed during their 90-date, 33-country 'Shows Of A Lost World' tour for more than 1.3 million people to overwhelming fan and critical acclaim. Fugazi, also officially referred to as 7 Songs, is the first, self-titled EP by the American post-hardcore band of the same name. Unlike all other Fugazi releases, Guy Picciotto did not contribute guitar to this record; all guitar was performed by Ian MacKaye. It was originally recorded in June 1988 and released in November 1988 on vinyl and again in 1989 on the compilation release 13 Songs along with the following EP Margin Walker. The photo used for the album cover was taken on June 30th, 1988 at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ. The release features "Waiting Room" which is often seen as the band's most well-known song (later covered by artists as diverse as Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Wildhearts), notorious for "the attention-getting drop into silence that occurs at the 22-second mark" as well as for it's "relentless ska/reggae-inflected drive", and "Suggestion", a "Meters-meets-Ruts thrust."

Blonde on Blonde: A double album that transcends time, defies space, suspends reality, and looks through the human soul and tells the listener characteristics about themselves they didn't know. Forever prized for a unique sound, Blonde on Blonde is to music, production, prose, and performance as what hydrogen is to water. The secret to its inimitable aural character partially stems from Dylan's request in Nashville to producer Bob Johnston to remove the baffles from the studio room, allowing the musicians to interact as well as the music to assume a more organic quality that drifts from one microphone to another.

The story of Blonde on Blonde is almost as compelling as the music within. Dylan, frustrated with how initial attempts fared in New York, relocating to Tennessee and pairing with Nashville's top session players as well as members of what would become the Band, feverishly chasing perfectionism while also arriving at an on-the-fly feel that remains a reference point for recorded music. The Bard sweated over lyrics, demanded his band get the exact sounds he heard in his head, and limited most takes to a handful at most. A majority of songs were recorded long after midnight, the post-A.M. vibe reflected in the nocturnal aura, woozy optimism, inversion of intervals, and spiritual soulfulness of the playing.

As for the tunes? Chapters of books and lengthy theses are dedicated to the sheer conscious-altering power, mythical weight, character cast, and convention-obscuring magnetism of the lyrics – to say nothing of the sophisticated albeit pure playing within, as arrangements touch upon gospel, R&B, pop, traditional and contemporary blues, vaudeville, folk, and more. Then there's Dylan's inventive phrasing, his manipulation of pitch and locution, helping the narratives to take on epic, inchoate, and cryptic meanings that continue to be deciphered to this day. Punch lines occur as frequently as romantic declarations, all delivered with salient references, traditional parallels, and elusive interpretations on par with those of Shakespeare.

Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson formed Minor Threat in 1980 with Lyle Preslar and Brian Baker. The band released two 7"s in 1981 that quickly established the group and Dischord as major forces in the new American hardcore scene. In the fall of ‘82 Steve Hansgen joined to play bass while Brian moved to second guitar. Minor Threat recorded Out Of Step and toured extensively as a five piece until June of '83 when Hansgen left the band. Minor Threat continued for several months as a four piece before calling it quits later that year. Out of Step was originally released after the band broke up in 1984. This edition of Out Of Step is re-issued with updated graphics (from the original artwork) and has been re-cut, upgraded to 45RPM and includes an accompanying download coupon.
