Originally formed as a somewhat antagonistic answer to grunge, CAKE's democratic processes, defiant self-reliance, and lucid yet ever-inventive music has made them a nation-state unto themselves, with no obvious peers, belonging to no school. In addition to writing, arranging, producing, and performing their own music, they have taught themselves to engineer their recording projects in their solar-powered studio, which actually generates more power than is needed to run it, causing the building's electrical meter to run in reverse. CAKE's second studio album Fashion Nugget, originally released in 1996, reissued on 180 gram vinyl. Cage THE ELEPHANT is a Bowling Green, Kentucky-based five piece band consisting of Matt Shultz (vocals), his brother Brad (guitar) and their friends Daniel Titchenor (bass), Lincoln Parish (guitar) and Jared Champion (drums). Matt, Brad and Daniel grew up on an alternative religious commune started by their ex-hippie parents. Pop music was strictly forbidden so their discovery of key punk and rock influences was covert and somewhat recent. The essence of Jimi Hendrix, Green Day, White Stripes and Kings of Leon, among others, fuels Cage's libertine, over-the-top rock explosions. Appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and a tour with Queens of the Stone Age provided the band with critical early live exposure. They then relocated to the UK for a period of time, where their debut self-titled album was released in mid-2008. The Ramones sounded like nothing else when their self-titled debut came roaring onto the scene in 1976. Even so, original drummer Tommy Ramone did do a pretty good job describing the band's primal sound when he penned the quartet's press bio that same year. "The Ramones all originate from Forest Hills and kids who grew up there either became musicians, degenerates or dentists. The Ramones are a little of each," he observed. "Their sound is not unlike a fast drill on a rear molar."

Named the "Greatest Punk Album Of All Time" by Rolling Stone, and certainly one of the most important and influential albums of all time, the 29-minute masterpiece helped launch the punk rock scenes in both America and Britain, and also went on to inspire countless other artists for generations to come. Vinyl LP pressing. Songs You Know by Heart: Jimmy Buffett's Greatest Hit(s) is the 18th album and the first greatest hits compilation by singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett. It was released in January 1, 1985. The parenthetical "s" in the subtitle alludes to the status at the time of "Margaritaville" as Buffett's single large chart hit. Although the album charted at 100 on the Billboard 200, it is currently certified 7x Platinum by the RIAA, making it Buffett's most commercially successful. Despite it's 1985 release date, the album only includes songs from 1973 to 1979. Aside of 1976's Havaña Daydreamin', this compilation includes at least one song from every album released between 1973 and 1979.

Released in September 1970, it was the band's only LP to top the UK Albums Chart until the release of 13 in 2013. Paranoid contains several of the band's signature songs, including "Iron Man", "War Pigs" and the title track, which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching #4 in the UK charts. Foo Fighters is the debut studio album by American alternative rock band Foo Fighters, released on July 4, 1995, by Capitol Records through Dave Grohl's label Roswell. Grohl wrote and recorded the entire album himself - with the exception of a guest guitar spot by Greg Dulli - with the assistance of producer Barrett Jones at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, Washington, in 1994. Grohl claimed he recorded the album just for fun, describing it as a cathartic experience to recover from the death of his Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain.

Foo Fighters is an American rock band, formed in Seattle in 1994. It was founded by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl as a one-man project following the death of Kurt Cobain and the resulting dissolution of his previous band. The group got it's name from the UFOs and various aerial phenomena that were reported by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II, which were known collectively as foo fighters.

1993's Debut marks Björk's first solo endeavor following the break-up of the Sugarcubes. The shimmering 10-song set was produced by Nellee Hooper who also co-wrote five of the album's ten electronic dance-pop tracks and features the distinct singles "Human Behaviour," "Venus as a Boy," "Big Time Sensuality" and "Violently Happy." "Debut was very much for me like a virgin trying to express herself, I mean a virgin musically," Bjork explains. "And that's why I named it Debut. And people who knew I had been around for many years just thought I was taking a piss or something. But for me it was very much like the songs I had kept in darkness and locked in my little diary, only to be seen by myself. The first time they were out on there own and had to figure out how to survive their own way."

All Nine Songs on New Vance Powell Co-Produced Studio Collection Previously Performed Live by the Band Dating Back to 2011!

"Sigma Oasis came to be during the first week of November 2019, but it wasn't planned that way at all. We were headed up to The Barn to rehearse for our fall tour and ended up discussing this batch of relatively recent songs that we were particularly proud of and always wished we had recorded, but hadn't had a chance to yet. Trey suggested calling up Vance Powell as he mixed and engineered Ghosts Of The Forest. Vance was very familiar with the space and the console so we set up the gear with no room dividers, no click tracks. Nothing. Just like a Phish show. Open space. We played for a couple days. We just played a bunch of songs - very quickly, a few takes, very organic, natural, live, honest. We had the best time. When we were done, our photographer Rene came up and asked us to come out on the porch and snap a photo. It took about two minutes. And that's the album cover - a snapshot of our band at that point in time.

"Vance had some stuff on his schedule so he asked as a favor if we would mind if he didn't mix until early March. Now four months might sound like a long time, but it gave all of us time to work on the tracks - Page overdubbed a lot of keyboards at home. Trey went to a studio in New York and did vocals and percussion. We had time to pick which songs we wanted to work on. We let a few of them go, which was difficult, but that's ok. When we recorded the album, we didn't plan to release it this way. But today, because of the environment we're all in, it just feels right. We don't know the next time that we're all going to be able to be together. This is an opportunity to have a moment where the Phish community can share something despite being physically separated.
